Couldn't resist the temptation with Krunic despite saying not to mess with ATP/WTA this week with RG around the corner. The fact Rogers has been horrid this year and barely able to win a game this year tempted me in.

Been occupied this week so not many plays. The early rounds are the best so missed out on them but still a few tournaments are in the 1st/2nd round so should have more picks today.

From what I have heard, RG clay is the same as Monte Carlo except it's higher altitude so court speed may be the same but ball will travel faster in the air. Going off ace counts in the 1st QF round, definitely slow and for that reason I am liking Ymer and Baena's chances later today. Rola and De Bakker's clay success has mainly come on fast clay and both have relatively poor records on slower clay.

Ymer @2.85 and Baena @2.35 are looking like decent plays but still not playing them personally. Haven't found a pre-game bet that I've liked in quite a while.

Wow at Vanni. 31 aces against Ungur and 14 against Fabbiano. This is a slow clay court and everyone else is only getting 2 or 3 aces a game and I couldn't find anyone even getting close to double digit aces.

Would've thought Fabbiano could handle Vanni on slow clay as Vanni prefers fast clay. Vanni only had success at Sao Paulo and Madrid which are the two fastest clay courts and lost in the 1st round of Monte Carlo, which is one of the slowest.

Vanni is making this surface look like a fast court with his ace count which is insane as everyone else is struggling for aces here.

My picks are almost all live plays where the favourite loses the 1st set. I rarely have pre-match bets and don't see anything worth playing today again.

Ymer vs Baena next round. Yikes. Don't think either will be happy drawing each other. Very similar players but I think Ymer's added strength this year will be the slight difference in otherwise a coin toss.

Ymer has a beauty of a draw. Easiest out of all the qualifiers but still difficult none the less. Could make it to the 4th round before actually getting a tough opponent whereas everyone else runs into a tough match in the 2nd/3rd round.

Ymer, Vanni, Sijsling and Pouille are the ones I like for the 1st round.
- Pouille 1st set dropping though as Simon is apparently badly injured and still hasn't been able to play.
- Sijsling gets Gulbis 1st round and if he can get past him, has one of the better draws. When Sijsling actually cares, he is a beast as mentioned before. Been rubbish all year but decides to step up for a grand slam.
- Vanni bet Tomic at the start of the month. Tomic against any decent player on clay is worth the fade. Vanni still serving lights out.
- Ymer gets Rosol which is tough but Rosol's form is very questionable. I think Ymer gets it done in a tough 5 setter.
