I think today told us that Roger's time has come and gone people. He has lost his fight and desire to win big matches.
It was fun while it lasted.

I took the Tsonga+2.5 sets on pinnacle.Seems Olderer is now too weak to compete with a few guys from the younger generation.
If he doesn't perform well in Wimbledon he should call it quits.
you should stop watcing tennis if you think something like that ... I bet you said the same thing 2 years ago, before he managed to be #1 again ...

Why quit?
he offers wonderful betting opportunities to fade each tournament
That is why we are all here. Books had him +1145 to win tourney this morning. The writing was on the wall

I actually thought of betting Tsonga -2,5 sets @7.5 but I was too chicken to do it

Well,i didn't say that Fed needed to retire 2 years ago.I was in fact backing him that he'll win at least 18 slams.I was right when he won last year's Wimbledon.
But,seriously just look at him now. He's physically not that great. For god's sake he's even got some fat on his tummy. He was barely able to win points let alone games on Tsonga's serve. Also it looks like he isn't willing to put his everything on the court.May be his age is wearing him down.
I believe you are a blind tard who worships him. He's the greatest of all time but he's on the way down.Accept it.
Also,Wimbledon is his best chance to win another slam.He isn't going to win the AO,FO,USO.
So it only makes sense that he retires if he doesn't perform well in Wimbledon.

clay is not his bst surface at all, as you should know this ... even if he doesn't perform well at Wimbledon he still plays a far more better tennis than, let's say, Tomic, Tipsarevic or Simon and I would prefer watching him play even when he'll be 40 than watching any of those 3

Clay is his worst surface yes. That's the reason why i stated that his Wimbledon performance is going to be key as it's his best tournament. If he can reach the final of wimbledon this year then i guess he can continue for one more year.
He plays far better and elegant tennis than all the players on the circuit. But,would it make you happy to see him lose to guys like Benneteau etc....
Only Rafa,Novak and Murray were beating him in the last couple of years. This year it seems he can lose to any of the top 10.His last match against a mug like simon is an example.
The next year he might lose to guys in the top 20.
I would prefer him to retire than watch mugs defeating him easily.

Yes I did
He is Tsonga , And I swear if Federer tried to hold only when he was up 4-2 in 1st set , He would win the game in straights or at most 3-1 !!!
Whatever , I did not bet in this game and just enjoyed it

Well he should call it quits pretty soon...its painful to see Federer play like a scrub and get embarrassed on the court.

Tsonga has a good chance to win the French Open, especially if he play's Djokovic.
