Would be a nice parlay hit. I liked both, but neither is a certainty obviously. I have liked what Tomic has done this week the most. He acknowledge his mistake against Benneteau of "letting off the gas" in the 2nd when he got up a break. It's a winnable match-up because Simon's pusher strategy isn't that conducive to grass where serve & volley guys can cut down on the long rallies he kills people with on other surfaces.Comment -

...seems to me most tennis-betting $-problems could be minimized by following one rule: lay off the women's-lottery version of the game...all the tennis forums here are full of guys swearing they'll never bet the bitches again...then getting lured back in before another big $-throwaway cuz da broads just can't hold serve with any reliability. If ATP is playing blackjack...WTA is a goddam slot machine.

Missed opps by Tomic. Had double break point/set point on Simon at 5-4 and could not convert. Then blows it on his serve in the TB, losing it 10-8 after rallying from down 5-2.Comment -

I thought so too at one point. In the end I got lucky.
Things did not look good around that rain-delay. Wickmayer was so pissed, having lost three match points up *5-3 already, with Kirilenko bending the rules to her advantage (delaying the match several times), and play resuming while the court was still far too slippery. Kirilenko holds to love (resuming from *15-0 after the rain), Wickmayer throws her racquet in disgust, argues with the umpire, walks around cursing to herself. Goes on to hold to love and break to 30 after being up 40-0*.
I did not see that coming, although I was hopeful it must be said. Whether it was mental fortitude or mere fortune, I was shocked and impressed.

#1, love that Dodig is +135 ... gives a real possibility for a hedge.
Yeah it will probably either be 23.5 with some juicy chalk or 24 at the normal rate would be a good guess. Seeing as Flodonis has been broken once and Dodig none - it's reasonable to think they will be playing one TB at least.Comment
