I was looking at Savinykh as well, but I'm not so sure... Cibulkova's two loses this year are deceiving IMO, one was her 1st match of the year, and the 2nd was her 5th match in 6 days, not to mention it was to a fantastic player in A Rad... Cibulkova seemed a little tired in her 1st match of the open, but with yesterday's rest should play at a higher level... thoughts?

#1071st set TB between Cibulkova-Savinykh ...Comment -

#108Savinykh takes the opening set. Well deserved, she had plenty of chances to really push out to a bigger lead, blew a chance to serve out at 6-5 and then rallied back in the TB. Keep that pressure on!
On another note, the 2nd Open Parlay looks shaky. F-ing Sands and Mirza blew a lead in the 1st and lost the TB and just blew a break lead in the 2nd. Eeesh.Comment -

#109Well these two bitches must have had somewhere to go. Up 3-0 in the 2nd and they lose 6-3. So much for Open Parlay #2. Huge dog price hit on the doubles there damn. Gonna have to stick to men's doubles for now I think. Thought this team was a good one after they won in Brisbane.Comment -

#111Ouch. Tough luck on the parlay. Savinykh will make up for it. Do you have any opinion on Zheng over Stosur? Doesn't Stosur usually shit the bed in the Aussie?Comment -

#112Zheng +4 was something I looked at, but I'm going to pass. Since they just played, there could be motivation from Stosur for once where she actually gets it done easily. Both played fairly poorly despite their scorelines in Round 1.
Savinykh blew a chance to race out to 3-0. Back on-serve. She keeps letting Cibulkova stick around ...Comment -

#114Just nervy now. She keeps getting breaks, but giving them back. If she could hold one time, this would be done.Comment -

#123Tipsarevic-Lacko Over 33 [-113]
Tipsarevic got through the opener, grinding against Hewitt and put forth a solid display. He wasn't perfect, so Lacko will have some places to try and exploit Mr.T. I don't think the wrist is a major issue, but it's definitely going to be a minor hassle at times for him. He showed that some in Chennai, dropping sets to Bedene and Bautista-Agut. Lacko has been pretty stout to open the season, only losing to Ferrer and Gasquet. Those losses were heavy ones in straights, but I think he matches up better against a shot maker like Tipsarevic - who will grind with you, but much prefers to levy out the big shots to engaging in more rallies like you'd see from Ferrer & Gasquet. These two met once way back in 2008 and played a thrilling five set match at the Davis Cup when neither were household names. Hell, Lacko still isn't. I do however think Lacko has improved his game on this surface and if he serves well, he should stick tight with Tipsarevic. As we saw with the Hewitt match, this number can be achieved in three sets - but I think perhaps we get four sets at least here and an easier shot to bank this one.Comment -

#128Happy Trails Youzhny. He may dig deep and win somehow, but this 3rd set got away from him and pretty much killed the spread. Melzer just broke in the 4th, still alive there.Comment -

#137Last one.
Malisse +130
Should be a superb match with Verdasco. Consistency should be the winning factor in this one. Verdasco rode the roller coaster against Goffin, showing some moxy in finishing it out in five. Still, he flashed the same lackadaisical play that has plagued him this season far too much. Malisse has been the much more consistent performer so far this season and I think his serve could be a difference maker today. He's already gotten in some lefty practice by beating Klizan earlier this season. If Malisse's serve stays stout, expecting him to survive and advance.Comment
