BetUSA wont grade wager forced on customer
I placed a wager that was improperly input as Arizona -5.5 instead of Under (both winners). I called BetUSA immediately to complain about the Pending Wager I thought to be erroneous, and the Customer Service Rep told me on no uncertain terms that I was stuck with the wager that was input - NCAAF - Arizona -5.5. Now they refuse to grade the wager because the "department closed". Read this copied from a Live Chat.
THIS IS FROM A CHATFORUM on http://www.betusa.ag/

    Diego Garret: HelloJames!

Diego Garret: I understandJames the bet is there but we will grade tomorrow morning, I promise you thatyou will have the money in the morning when the accounting departments is open.
James E****: Now that isjust not right. I never heard of a wager not being graded until the next day. Itell you if these bets are not graded, I'm going right to SBR and OSGA aboutthis. Its really bullshit.
    Diego Garret: It
    Diego Garret: sorry forthe typo
Diego Garret: It'sbecause the department on charge is not open at this moment.
James E****: Never heardof that and I've bet late nights many times before. You guys are bullshittingme.
Diego Garret: I just askmy supervisor about your wagers and Yes would be grade it in the morning.
James E****: Not going toargue with you. Believe me this conversation is going to be in every sportsforum tomorrow AM. In addition I'm going to formally complain to the OSGA andSBR. Maybe you ought to think about that before you "close" yourdepartments.

Thats about the best you can expect from any book in this group. You're lucky they don't try to cancel after it won.

Why is this a big deal? So it will be graded this morning. Is this really something worth complaining about?

      Ridiculous post IMO.

Additionally, this bet wasn't "forced" on you. You made a mistake entering your bet. That's your fault, not the book's. Just be more careful in the future.

Reading this thread I thought they were canceling the winning bet on you. They are late grading it so what? Ridiculous!

If this were any other Jazette Book, I would agree with you. But as you should know, BetUSA is the highest rated one of the bunch (B-)--and they've earned it as far as I'm concerned. Yes, Sportsbook.com will definitely try to screw you (as I well know), but not BetUSA.

Thanks for the history lesson HH. The rating is what the rating is because I personally speak with the former brand owner. He's probably gotten hundreds of players who were fans of sportsbook.com but read SBR about the stiff jobs and BetUSA having a better safety net. But as he would tell you, Sportsbook.com takes and grades his bets. If they are going to cheat on a bet or just mess it up, BetUSA isn't immune to it.

A - D books will steal from players any chance they get because they know you have no real recourse.

Agreed, and I understand that all Jazette Books use common resources. The big difference is that BetUSA won't go along with outright theft like their parent Book does. It's all moot here as this is a simple slow grade problem that has probably corrected itself already. In all, I feel very safe playing at BetUSA--you guys have done a good job in singling them out as the best of the shady Jazette brand.
