Has anyone done a book to book transfer from Heritage to 5Dimes? Did they require paperwork and ID and all that to process it?
Heritage Sportsbook making big moves. Feedback wanted

#107When I go to www.heritagesports.com now, it takes me to a login page with no other option.
No Live Chat, no links with any information of any kind.
It does list a phone number, and there is a tiny message at the bottom of the page with an email addy.
There's a photo of 50's looking Playboy bunnies.
Tried the address a 2nd time, and same basic page but with a photo of a bank vault this time, and a quote by Jimmy "the Sportsbook Quote Whore Shill" Vaccaro.
Was this always the Home Page?
Or is this the new site?Comment -

Bottom of screen once logged in : "House Rules" link.
Some other beauties in there.
The 2nd half of #17 - "Upon signup, each client is required to submit a secondary password used for account changes and withdrawals. This secondary password must be used to change a wagering password or request a withdrawal of funds from his/her account. Should a member give away, share or lose his or her account number and/or password, Heritage Sports will not be held liable for any claims regarding that account."
I was given 2 accounts there, and was never asked to give a secondary password.
House Rules also lists about 6 ways that they feel they have the right to confiscate one's funds.Comment -

Perhaps they'll up it a bit now for the Greek customers, or try upping it for awhile.
Shows what their model was at least up till now, as far as the level of betting they were seeking in their "Invitational" customers.
Incidentally - I asked previously in this or another Heritage thread - Has anyone discovered any betting limits yet?
Perhaps I'll start a thread just for that info.Comment -

#118Here's another great one:
"14. Any customer that is to be deemed betting as part of a syndicate or betting group risks account closure and forfeiture of all account winnings."
So if you are following a popular handicapper/tout, Heritage can seize your deposit and winnings by stating that you are part of a betting group -which you are in this case, you're a part of the Joe Blow handicapper followers.
Likewise if you're chasing steam.
Or if by coincidence you hit a game just when the steam happens to occur on that game.
Bye bye funds. If they feel like it.

I've never done business with any book that has Rule #14.
At their will they can call you a member of a syndicate and take your money.Comment -

Nice.
But, we can say that in over 10 years Heritage has never confiscated someone's balance or taken money that might have been rightfully won. Even with players who are likely in the wrong, Heritage pays them. They probably don't like this said publicly because they feel it will put a target on them for shot takers but they side with the players.
A lot of books had old rules like this one to deter multiple accts and bonus syndicates but they don't actually apply them without evidence of cheating such as opening 3 accts and taking 3 bonuses and circumventing the limit for the first acct. I think Heritage will take the feedback and get rid of this old school verbage.Comment -

#132I was switched over from Bet Jam and so far have had no problems with their customer service. I wish they had horse racing rebates though. I haven't withdrawn form them yet, so I am not sure how expedient they are in that department. I expect (and hope for) the best.Comment -

13. Heritage Sports reserves the right to adjust the limits and/or suspend wagering privileges on any individual account without prior written or verbal notice.
Going to transfer most of my funds to BookMaker and use Heritage for small wagers since its obvious they can't handle someone winning a few grand without panicking.Comment -

Bill,
Do you consider this antiquated verbage as well? And I assume (hate that word) if it sticks that the clock doesn't start ticking until I win $5000 with them and has nothing to do with the balance in my account they inherited from Bet Jamaica?Comment -

Right, they dont want BetJam guys to come over and then get a new fee they didnt have before. I dont know if they will have free payouts after you whoop up on em. That would be one to ask. My guess is they would pay for the first one and let you know about the subsequent one.Comment -

Yea, that's a bad "rule". It reminds me of the SBG scam where the players followed the hot radio tout and SBG stole all their money saying they were under the syndicate rule. The word syndicate is subjective and makes a newbie feel like if he caps a game with a buddy he'll lose his whole bank roll.

could you ask them to maybe lower the min deposit amount for a bonus
it is $300 right now
betjam players could deposit $50 or more and get bonuses if eligible
