Nice to meet you William Hill!

Yesterday I checked a bunch of pages here and there about that bookie and found nothing criminal (no more than several complaints - compare with thousands on bwin). So I decided to register and deposit 500 pounds.
Winning 200 pounds on several soccer expresses was sufficient to cut off my max limit to 5 pounds. It's ridiculous! I could never ever imagine that the bookie with such strong world-wide reputation could be so petty!
Today I've talked with the support. They said: "It was a traiding decision to cut off the limits". However they promised to review it once more and email me the results. Stay tuned...

P.S. for web spiders "William Hill bet limits cut off"

Strange. I have been betting & Arbing here for a while & have not had my limits cut, yet

Guess it's just the luck of the draw. Were your bets on obscure soccer leagues

    Doesn't surprise me at all.

They won't put up with anyone who shows any hint of knowing how to pick off the top odds in the market

My limits across all sports with then is $0

That's normal, especially for European books.

When I first started out betting online WillHill was my first site. Pulled out 1K, and never had my limits cut.

I also think they're harsher on non-UK accounts.

Will Hill is so big they care little or nothing abt CS. When I could play there some time back, it was rare to ever get an email answered. One time they double paid me via Neteller. I sent them an email and asked the correct procedure for me to return the money. They never responded to my email they just TOOK it from my Neteller account without my authorization. I withdrew the rest of my money from them and never saw them again. few months later I got the email all USA got advising me I couldn't play there anymore. I could probably play there now, but wouldn't.

I think Will Hill has changed its way of managing the business, in the past was possible to do much good SureBet for a long time but now things are quite different.

Well I rather play at WillHill then Ladbrokes, Victor Chandler or bet365.

hmmm...it seems that a gambler nowadays have to lose a couple o' deposits before starting to play his normal game - they seem to be a lot less suspicious that way.

Well after talking to support the max limit on the multiples was increased to 40 pounds
I didn't try the ordinal bets - may be the limit there is a bit higher.
By the way I wouldn't bother myself with William Hill but the multiples on the Betfair are so poor especially if it's not a top5 league.

P.S. The winning multiple was on the UEFA Champions League - nothing exotic.

I never had any problems with them, but I think they like me, I play regulary poker and ocasionaly lose a few € in the casino.
so they let me win on sports.

All of those are an utter waste of time for me due to absurdly low limits
Bet$3.65 was okay for a little while (twice! - I got a new account when Bowmans merged), WmHill also for a lesser while and the other two basically worthless from the very start for me.
