How big was the check? How long has it been frozen? Most banks will put a hold on a portion of some of the bigger checks for at least a couple days. Whether it comes from offshore, or your mom.

Small and large banks will hold the funds on checks that are not local or that they do not recognize. My CU holds checks from Canada for 15 business days and out of state checks for 5 days. It is a huge PITA but the price of doing business I guess. You just have to wait it out.

That is a different story then, I guess I misread your post. I suggest working with dsi to see if the check cleared on their end before working with the bank. Are you saying all of your funds in the account are frozen besides the amount for the check?

My funds are ok. The description or reason for the check bouncing are funds are frozen on their side.

Surprising, I just got a check from DSI and they wrote US funds on it, so Chase just cashed it as if it were a typical personal check.

I think that's the key (u.s. funds) because this check had nothing related to funds written on it.

Check bounced the reason being funds frozen.

When you're smart enough to get paid via DC, you don't have to worry about funds clearing.

Look at their plastic withdrawal option & figure it out, it's not hard.

    Hi guys,

It is better to send an email directly to the book or the book's live chat, or shoot an email to help@sportsbookreview.com if there's a general issue.

So you have positive experiences with the D.C.? From other posters I have heard that using Betpoints to withdraw via check seems to be the most efficient method to get money out of DSI.

Yes, positive experiences with this method. Most cost effective method available, faster than check, atm cash is better than wondering if a check will clear.

Good to know, I am still hesitant about giving them my SS#, they said it may be possible to have the excluded if I contacted the D.C. department, but after hearing that the fees added up to a bunch, that it was not worth it. As long as my DSI checks continue to come in in the fashion they have (In US funds, and at more door within 2 days of removal from my account) I think I will stick with that method, but thanks for the input.
