Nearly one year ago I made an account with Bet365. I made an initial deposit of 10 Euro and won 5500 Euro within hours. I requested a payout by bankwire to my German bank which returned the payout made by bet365 (the problem was that I used the wrong IBAN and so it was returned to bet365).
The money was returned to bet365 and bet365 suspended my account. They requested my id and I sent it to them. They always rejected it. After weeks I finally got in contact with their Risk and Fraud manager. He said my documents were forged and he requested a notary certified id from me. Then I had to deal with some real personal issues and totally lost the bet365 problems out of my mind. Sound strange but that were really difficult issues i had with my family.
This summer when everything was allright and the personal issues were solved i started remembering that i still had 5500 Euro with bet365. So I went to a notary and got my id certified which was later on sent to bet365. Bet365 verified my document and told me they will send me a postal verification code. After waiting weeks for the code i asked the company if they really sent it out. They told me the adress where it was sent to but the adress did not state "street" in it. So it may went to my village but to a different adr. For example we have Sports as a adress and Sports Street. So it looks the same, it is within 1kms range but still a different house. I went to the person who lives there and asked if she maybe received a letter which was for me and she said no. So i contacted bet365 again and told them they had the wrong adr. on file. I was promised to get a new letter. After another 2 weeks there was still no letter. I called in and was told a new one will be sent out. after 1 week there was still no letter. I told them that I had not received any letter and they said that no letter was sent our and some operator forgott about it.
Then I finally got a letter with the code. This time they said that the code was not correct. They said it was a human error by their service because this code was for a different account. So they sent me a new code. After another week I received the code and it was verified by bet365. Now I asked if I could login again and requested a payout. The operator took the payout request into the system but after one night it was canceled by bet365. I asked what the problem was and why i can not login. They said my account was forwarded to the Risk and Fraud department again. After another two week where I have not heard anything from them I was told I will get contacted by telephone. So I waited another 6 days until bet365 called me. This time it was the Fraud and Risk manager again who told me that my account will get permanently closed and he will return my initial deposit of 10 Euro to moneybookers.
I can not believe that they are allowed to do this. That saved them 5490 Euro. They asked for a notary certified copy of my id and i sent it to them. They sent me two different postal verification codes and I told them both codes. I even contacted them by telephone a couple of times but all they did was giving me back the initial 10 Euro and not the money I won. This smells to hell.
