    We are still working through many details. I know you guys need more info. I honestly believe a realistic payment plan settlement can be reached. But meanwhile we are preparing in case one can not.

    I did notice a couple of things about the spreadsheet:

    - The total doesn't add up (should be $929,839.31 right now instead of $897,380.92)
    - This entry totaly disappeared:
    TT CXX70 $4,271.00
    Did that one get paid?

    That player bet his balance and lost it. You will probably see a bunch of adjustments as we get the list going. There was aother 22k account added today.

    If there was a payout of any amount it would be noted in green next to the account balance as was the case with the first account, A.M.

    I'll check on the spreadsheet calculations.

    Nearly $1 million in debt with SBR followers alone. Imagine what the overall figure is! A consistent payout plan, whether you're owed $300 or 6 figures, would be wonderful. I don't know how realistic this is, but I truly appreciate the effort. Win or Lose, thanks SBR.

    Bill, good idea with the forum. I have a request/suggestion. Maybe move this forum to below the capping forums? I'm so used to the NFL capping forum being in its spot under Players Talk, that I'm actually a little thrown off as I first load SBR. This is probably a really small detail but I'm so anal I notice things like this and it bothers me.

    The only way you are gonna see movement on this is for legal action to begin and for bank accounts/assets to be frozen via court order. What is the hold up on the legal action? If you are gonna do it--pull the trigger already!!

    I don't have anything to back that up, but I'm guessing the holdup is the absolute lack of response from Lenny to the suggestions Bill makes for solving this.
    As Bill said in the "wow" thread:

    Our door is open for Lenny to start a very reasonable plan that we talked about but he hasn't pursued the next step. Nothing has changed and we will still pursue all options as this slow process comes together.
    Call Lenny to ask what the hold up is at 1 800 520 1812
    I'd do it myself, but I don't want to hear "your check will be sent out by the end of the week" one more time...

    Hey Break and suzyQ. My question wasn't what was the hold up with Lenny. (He committed the "hold up") My question was concerning the hold up on the legal remedies that should have started raining down on his head. So i want to know what is stopping Bill and/or John from turning loose any legal counsel they have retained. No need for Lenny to do anything as long as he can take in money from unsuspecting suckers.

    At a minimum, if SBR will proceed on behalf of the "class" their could be a shutting down of his thieving website, frozen accounts by court order, and restraining orders issued.

    Lets' get started? I repeat--why are you waiting SBR?

    I spoke with Lenny today. Lenny wasn't happy with the minimal conditions we set for a very affordable payment plan and has decided to decline. Barring a change of hart by the end of next week, we will turn players who have chosen to be part of the class to legal counsel. One player will be chosen to represent the class. Players will receive an email tomorrow confirming that they wish to take part.

    Ideally the legal action shakes the apples from the tree and everyone goes on their merry way but it will be up to the group to decide how to utilize the power of numbers. On our end we will continue to put out warnings that a no-pay book is taking deposits.

    balance "adjustment"

    two months before the MLB season started, i deposited at cascade largely to bet their Rockies line at 100-1 to win the NL.

    nine months later, AFTER the bet was graded as a win at 100-1, they took $32.5k (of monopoly money) out of my account, saying that:

    CORRECTION/rockies +10000 to win the NL pennant was never made

    CORRECTION/Rockies odds to win the NL Pennant 35/1 for $500

    this isn't an entirely unexpected move given how they're operating, but i'm still stunned. how can you let a bet ride for nine months and then adjust the payout odds after it wins? and why adjust the balance at all when they won't process a payout anyway?

    i need to open a sportsbook in costa rica. it's a lot easier than handicapping for a living.

    You will have to have confidence in the integrity of the legal representation and disclosure process. The voice for the group does not have the ability to work out private deals. Any payments should be presented to the group.

    And what if he does?

    As of now, nobody is getting paid.
    I asked Lenny yesterday to settle 13k owed to me and a friend for 8 cents on the dollar, pay 1k and keep the other 12.
    He didn't even want to do that ("everybody will be paid in full").

    So between

    A) The largest balance holder gets paid first and maybe some of us get part of our money after that

    B) Nobody gets anything

    I'll take option A
