    Need help depositing

Hey guys. My coinbase account got locked back in January due to suspicious activity and i need to find a reputable place to buy and sell BTC. Some people have mentioned Gemini, Kraken, Bittrex, cashapp but I dont know anything about any of these places as I had used coinbase for years before I all of a sudden got locked out. Any other recommended places? With football season approaching, I would like to make a deposit within the next few weeks.

Gemini, CashAPP and Kraken would be my suggestions too.

But use "middleman" wallet before you send to a book. Buy BTC on exchange, send it to blockchain wallet and then to book, don't deposit to book directly from the exchange.

I did that. Would buy from Coinbase then send to Blockchain and then to sportsbook. Withdrawals were in reverse order and I still got my account locked. Went to buy bitcoin one day and a message popped up saying your account has been locked due to suspicious activity. I was like WTF? Always used a middleman wallet.

Probably the frequency and style of transactions looking like gambling or selling something or collecting ransoms etc.

I think that CB make assumptions from the activity and ask you to explain what you ae doing as step one, rather than tracing everything.

I don’t know whether or not your being serious but if you are, most of my friends don’t even like to gamble. Too scared to lose money. The ones that are willing to bet its a $20 bet most of the time. Can’t make no money that way. Lol

I think the reason to use a middleman wallet is to make it harder for them to track where the money is coming or going. Even though I did that and still got my account locked. If you’re going directly from CashApp to sportsbook, it’s probably just a matter of time before they figure out that the money is being used for gambling and will shut your account down.

Just pay the 5% fee with a code and use a btc atm depositing, no need to use a middle wallet when doing that, I use coin flip and the deposit always goes through in less than 10 minutes

Just watched a video on this. Is it as easy as it looks? Do you scan the address code the sportsbook gives you into the Coinflip ATM and it sends the funds directly to the book? Or do you need to send it to a wallet of your choice?

Just scan the QR code from the book on your phone, the machine has a scan area where you put your phone at, all that’s required for under $900 is your phone number and they will text you a code to put in the machine. It’s almost instant and I have never used a middle wallet, takes less than a minute to do and they text you a receipt, it’s really that easy, but you pay for the convenience 5-10% premium, but you can find discount codes on the atm websites.

This might seem dumb, but all the ATM's I see are buy only. Will a book such as BOL send winnings back through Coinbase?

Yea that’s the problem, 95% of the btc atms near me are buy only, so to cash out your still going to have to use a exchange of some kind to cash out. In my experience cb seems more interested in where you are sending btc to, and not so much when receiving btc, but that may just be my experiences, gl

Same here. I looked up the bitcoin atms near me and they are all buy only. I’m going to probably set up an account with Gemini or Kraken for cashing out.
