    12betuk closed my account because of 'device' I used
    Have had my account with 12bet for 2-3 years. Always use my laptop as I do for my other accounts and everyday business and is what I am using at the moment to post this.
    Today, received this from them. I know they can close my account for any reason, but this one seems strange.

    "I regret to inform you that 12Bet have decided to close your account. As part of our sign-up and log in process Risk Management checks are carried out against our customers device numbers.

    The device you used to interact with our website triggered an alert, and upon review it has been deemed the nature of that alert exceeds what is deemed to be an acceptable risk.

    As such, the management team have decided not to continue the business relationship. Any funds held on deposit will be remitted to your account.

    I trust this explains the reasons for the closure of your account."

    I had the same happening to my account about half a year ago. This is just their way of saying "you've won too much and you're not a good customer for our business anymore".
    Meaning they will just pay out your balance, including all winnings. Nothing to complain about.

      Sounds like they are telling you another book has flagged you as sharp, or maybe that more than one name has been used to register accounts from your device.

            Could be the former. No one but me uses my laptop and I have only the one account with them.

              They probably use Iovation software and someone has flagged you. Chances are 12bet are over reacting to whatever it says if no other book has done this to you though.

                I've had the same message from 12bet, SportPesa, TLCbet, Fun88 and BetVision this week.
                Must be having a clear out of unprofitable customers.
                I have one account at each. I nearly always use the same device to place bets and no-one else uses it (occasionally I use a mobile).
                They are all part of TGP Europe i think.
