#180I'm guessing you haven't read the whole thread, or the other related threads. This has happened to multiple people. There are 4 people that have acknowledged this happening to them on SBR alone. How many others are there?
I am a professional poker player and gambler. There are other forums where I have regularly made no-vig sports bets with other poker players for thousands of dollars and payed up the same night (through poker site transfers). I have been heads up in an online site for a $12K WSOP seat + expenses satellite, made a 2nd place save deal for $3K with the other guy, and paid up the same ****ing day right after I won.
When I had to explain to my friends what happened ("How much did you win?"), they were all confused how a deal like that could be made online. Was it legally binding? **** no. But I would have been a thief to not uphold my end.
I have accounts at multiple poker sites and sports books. No one will have anything bad to say about me when the shit hits the fan if BP tries to rob me. I have never been a thief or tried to cheat anyone.Comment -

Well you apparently are assuming that they are responsible for your account being hacked. If it turns out that can be shown you'll have obvious reasons to be mad.Comment -

Yes, that is what I am assuming. This has happened to at least four BP customers who post on SBR. BP has horrible software and a very low security level. Any CS employee there can see every single customer's password. Up until a few weeks ago, they actually put your password in the URL when you logged in!
It was my account that was hacked, but I don't feel even the slightest responsibility for it. I don't see how this could be a problem on my end. I have not had anything like this happen to me anywhere else. The same goes for the other SBR posters (2 of whom have been refunded after being told only their own IP addresses show up in the logs).
If it turns out that can be shown you'll have obvious reasons to be mad.
I'll probably look something like this:
What I would really like to know is what kind of INVESTIGATING they are actually doing. I emailed Richard asking for their logs of when I logged in and from what IP addresses. I received no reply.
Are they providing you with any information? Are they providing you with any logs or anything like that?
Please don't get me wrong, I really appreciate you stepping in here to mediate. While I am very angry and frustrated, that anger is not aimed at you. I appreciate your mediation in this matter. This isn't a case of "no good deed goes unpunished".
I am trying to find out what is going on beyond BP saying they only see one IP address (mine). Will they let you see the results of their "investigation"? What exactly does their investigation consist of? BP doesn't tell me jackshit.Comment -

#196Wow never heard of google? I just googled this place and wow funny funny. Before anyone deposits anywhere they should do research on it. More than clicking the SBR review. Unless of course you like getting all your information from one source. If you didn't deposit and went for one of their bonus scams well life's ruff, good thing you didn't lose anything.
You can cry all you want but basically these people are based in a different country and usually care 0% about US laws. What can you really do? You aren't gonna take them to court and say "I was illegally gambling online, won and they didn't pay!" ...next time do research....sorry for your loss... 95% of the time on the internet if it sounds to good to be true it is.Comment -

30% chance Kgambler is responsible
either way i will never deposit there. I got a $250 freeplay and liked the huge board they have but after reading some threads about them i wonder what they would be rated if they didnt pay sbr for a B+ rating. Maybe a D-, ouchComment -

#202I can't imagine how Marauders is feeling. Their "investigation" into his account hacking is taking months.
The strange thing that recently happened to my account is that on April 7 and 9th, I was refunded the $2K that I deposited to Bet Phoenix with my credit card back in December. I discovered this when I logged into my card account online and looked at my activity. I thought they were CHARGES though so I was freaking out. It was only the next day that I realized they were credits and not debits.
So some time in early April, someone initiated a refund of my card deposit from back in December. I never saw any activity (such as a cashout) or any changes in my BP balance during this time period. Now they have locked my BP account again, so I can't log in anymore. And they are telling me that they themselves initiated the refunds, in order to avoid any future problems with my cards (not sure what that means). Earlier they had said they don't see any activity in my BP account.Comment -

#205After viewing more facts on the players' situation, it's clear that there's some password liability in both cases. We're looking at the eight third party sites where the same password(s) were used, and trying to help spot where the security breach may have been.Comment -

If that's the case, then I have 3 questions that I hope you can answer for me.
1) Why is it that none of my other account got hacked into and have the same problem if it was my computer or information that got hacked into?
2) Is it a coincidence, that at the time I had the account compromised that two other SBR forum posters (pjesnik24 and chantech) had the same problem at BP. Later Kgambler have a similar problem even after he disabled his access to casino play. Keep in mind that I do not know any of these individuals before the incident.
3) As far as I know, both pjesnik24 and chantech have their funds reimbursed to them. If BP doesn't think it's a problem on their hand, why would they bother with that arrangement?
I understand that you have a tough job with gathering all the facts and coming to a conclusion as to what happened. I just feel that from your last post, you are looking more in terms of what went wrong on the players' end rather than looking at problems with BP.
I have been pretty quiet and hope to resolve this problem with SBR's help behind the scene. However, I am getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress and when I couldn't get a simple answer as to what IP address it was that logged into my account that played at the casino, what can I do?

#208Do you have concrete proof the security breach wasn't at Bet Phoenix? If it was at one of KGambler's other sites, surely those accounts, especially the bank account, would have been hacked into? Or there would have been reports of account hackings at, eg. Bet Jam or Bodog? Given the other cases posted, isn't Bet Phoenix the more natural conclusion regarding the security issue? Unless, they've provided sufficient proof it wasn't them, that is....Comment -
