As a small correction more information is coming out that the alledged "merger" is really a buyout. All youwager staff let go sunday and the acquirer (silver arrow/silver arrow marketing?) is bringing in it's own staff to run things.

All I can dig up on silver arrow (if it is them) is that someone called John Hartley is said to be part of it and they are based in Costa Rica. In the past they acted as an affiliate/SEO marketing company for places like Cirrus Casino, Cool Cat Casino, Wild Vegas Casino and Betroyal.

Some more background on silver arrow:
Currently Silver Arrow Marketing (for those who don’t know this is the final name I choose for my new venture) is working alongside BetRoyal.com who is online sportsbook and casino, and just recently re-launched their affiliate program, as well as revamped their website.

Established in 1994 BetRoyal is one of the Royal Sports Group of websites. Located in Curacao, the Netherlands Antilles and licensed by the Antilles government. BetRoyal utilizes the latest technology, which allows players to safely bet online. Their vast and reputable experience in wagering services is now further enhanced with the addition of Casino and Horse Race wagering. With their continuing commitment to outstanding customer service, we know the players will be pleased playing at BetRoyal!

BetRoyal has agreed to start all affiliates that signup with them through us in the next two weeks 25% revenue share by simply asking the affiliate to mention ‘Silver Promo’ in how did you hear about them box.

Accurate real-time reports being readily available to their affiliates is just one of many great features BetRoyal offers, and payments are sent on the 10th of each month.

BetRoyal will make an excellent addition to the fine collection of sportsbooks and casino’s you currently promote and their reputation in the industry is second to none. The island of Curacao is considered one of the finest jurisdictions to be licensed in.

Should you wish to discuss the partnership with BetRoyal further then remember we can be contacted at anytime; also this offer is also open to all you fellow affiliate friends.

To discuss with opportunity with me or any other opportunity to affiliate with a sportsbook and casino then shoot me a PM!

    VIP.com, BetGameDay.com and Nine.com Shut Down

After pulling out of the US market in 2006, VIP.com, BetGameDay.com and Nine.com have decided to close shop. The sites all feature a closure notice.

VIP.com/BetGameDay.com were two of the oldest online gambling websites, mostly specializing in sports betting, however, both had Internet casinos.
Nine.com was a hugely successful online sports betting site throughout much of the first half of this past decade before being purchased by VIP.com.
VIP.com/BetGameDay.com have always operated in Curacao. The two companies were run by highly regarded individuals in the online gambling sector who made a name for themselves at various gaming conferences before laying low post-prohibition in 2006. Their intention had always been to re-enter the US market should regulation come to fruition.
Nine.com was originally founded in 1998 on the island of Margarita, a one time Venezuelan stronghold for offshore sports betting sites prior to Hugo Chavez coming into power.
The company first operated as Grand Central Sports then changed its name to BetCom before expanding to include some sister sites. The group would eventually become Nine.com. Marty Davis and Simon Eaton were two of the most popular affiliate tandems in the industry.

The founder of Nine.com went on to open one of the best Italian restaurants in Escazu, Costa Rica.
These companies were regular staples of the Gambling911.com website during their heyday and will be sorely missed.

Without further information to sum it up:

-Either purchased by Silver Arrow Marketing (unlikely since it looks like someone who runs the affiliate side) or Cool Cat Casino which is the Virtual Group of Casinos.
-IF it turns out to be Cool Cat Casino or really "Virtual Group of Casinos" then i would be a bit worried. There is a lot of bad history coming from this group written on various casino sites.

Statement to SBR from YouWager Mgt.

We want to assure all our valued customers that the ownership and structure of First Fidelity remains 100% unchanged. All levels of excellent customer service will continue as is and continue to improve to provide our customers the best overall service in the industry. Along those line we are relocating our phone wagering services to a different facility to ensure continuing quality of service that is the only change that is in process.

It wasn't even my rumour if you read the first post. I gamble so things like change in ownership are important for the solvency of books and my balances there.

But what the fuk would you know about that you broke ass fukk? Keep getting your $25 book credits cancelled and shut the fuk up.

Is Virtual related to the Score Sportsbook group of books of years gone by? Was it run by the now deceased Warren Cloud aka Don Fortune aka Richard Brooks aka Oliver Curran?

I would strongly suggest you run as fast as you can if that's the case. The Virtual casino and Prism casinos are also part of that group. Betroyal might be the worst book in the history of sports betting.

Trust me when I say, the owner is a thief and a liar. Not only to his employees but especially to his customers.

Is anything gonna change with the Calendar promos, Scratch card promos, NFL contest, Discount Book(Betpop) prices, etc? I notice there are no future calendar promos listed, no place for magazine and scratch cards, etc.

We are told in the next few weeks prior to the start of football season the mailings will go out and the pages will be updated w/ new calendar being posted. All of the usual perks will be there as normal.

So basically everything will be the same. Why would somebody start a post saying they are being sold to some weird scetchy casino company? What is the reasoning for that? I have played with youwager for over 10 years. They have been one of the best books I have dealt with. I know where their office is. I have been there before. Why would somebody make shiit like that up? So they are changing some parts of their business. Why are you trying to scare people?

And your source of information is from some retarded forum that instead discusses sports and the offshore industry would rather discuss who makes a better sandwich? That is your fukin source? If this shitt is true please let me know, but I highly doubt that youwager is now some jerkoff online casino with no sportsbook.

So basically what your are saying is my balance can not be used anymore but now I belong to silver arrow casino or cirrus casino? Is that what you are saying? Please explain this to me more. I highly doubt you are correct in your false rumor though.

I am assuming since this thread is dead that it was just a made up rumor than. Youwager is as solid as they come. Never had a problem with them and they treat their customers decent and pay fast. What is the problem with that?

Youwager has always been good to me but I'm a tad concerned because the guy behind the original report is reputable.

Has Youwager or SBR refuted the report that the current customer service workers are fired as of this upcoming Sunday?

If ownership has not changed in any way, why are they cleaning house?
