Marathonbet dislikes winners?
I've been reading around for a while on Marathonbet, I really want to bet there as they have the best lines but I am worried about the site in general. Got a quite a few people they had their funds held (however the amounts are like 1k, so there's almost zero chance the site would do something fishy for 1k), but also heard that they really dislike winners and once you win a bit they will ban you? If so how much is winning a bit? Anyone have good experience from there?

In span of 1.5hr of me placing my first bet they lowered my limits to to 1.2$ and my games haven't even started.I placed 2 100$ bets.
I think they limit you immediately if you open new account and then hit weak lines. But I got that 1€ after one month of betting. For one month I bet only the best lines on market, as I always do, and bet a lot, hundreds of bets. I also withdrawed about 2k. I believe they let me to do that because I opened my account years ago, but I didnt use it until now. So it wasnt suspicious account anymore like all new accounts are. That might be useful thing to do for everybody who wants to bet more than 1-2 hours there.
Now I keep betting with that 1€ limit. I believe I can win aproximately 1000-1500€/year in long term with that tiny wager. Though it's not very wise betting at my point of view, but I'll do it for Marathon, they will love it.
I wonder if you can bet $20 a game and bet weak lines and never get reduced?

That's why i open accounts on 5-10 bookies : to take the best price on the market !!!
If not , i would stick to pinnacle or SBObet and take whatever odd/line they offer.
Maybe this quick limiting would slow down a bit if ratings services include this in their breakdown of ratings?

wait until you have to do the kyc requirements. some russian dude was telling me my id didnt match my address when it clearly did. thought he was penetrating with me. took a week for some woman to verify my id and send me my funds. glad i got out when i did
I'm just beging them to give me higher limits, but no answer yet. What I know so far, it's absolutely possible to make lot of money even if you are limited. First bet 1€ to straight bet, to handicaps, team totals, both teams to score, bet in all sections where can find value for the team you prefer. Then wait one hour and do that again. And again and again until they dropp lines. You can do that using parleys too, but it seems less profitable strategy. Giving up cos 1€ limits is waist of money.
Btw. Marathon is advertising to common people as they were professional bookmarker even if this ugly 1€ truth is just behind a corner. That is because we dont let people know, because we have accepted our destiny to be limited everywhere. 10 years ago 50€ was pretty small limit, now we are happy to take 1€ and not talk about it. We talk about it here, but their customers mostly are not here.

They said limits stay and my account is reviewed again after few months. In other words they will close my account after few months. That's why I've been now clicking 1 euro bets all the time. Feels like running a marathon.
Why waste your time with Ģ1 bets? Just use an exchange
I take best value as long as I can. I have placed big bet to Pinnacle and then boost up value by clicking 1 euros. Its worth it

Thats interesting...When I was going to place ritually my 1€ stake again, suddenly Marathon let me stake 80€ for CHI-DAL Under 5,5. First they have offered nice odds for OVER, and now it seems they need to get more stakes for UNDER, so they have unlocked even limited accounts to get more money on under.
I'm still betting those 1€ stakes. Never gonna give up. There must be at least 500 bets within last week.
(I apologize for my English. Marathon blocks accounts, late payments, personally, my account is locked and I can not withdraw their money for more than 3 weeks ((filed a complaint against a bookmaker, the sum of $ 350 in the account.

Other than Pinnacle, Matchbook, SBOBET, Betdaq, Betfair , Bookmaker and maybe 1 or 2 more all sportsbook cut winners down
Pretty match every bookmaker will limit if you keep winning and finding the best odds/arbs.
The best solution is to use a Bet brokerage like Samvo or an exchange like Betfair.
It's unbelieveable how huge +EV odds they offer. I already knew it when I wasnt limited yet, but now I really see it, its amazing. Bankroll is growing without any losing streaks
bookies donīt want winners
After deciding to cut of every winning player from their customer base, marathonbet got very good financial results.
2-3 years ago they were considering becoming another 'winners welcome' bookie, like pinnacle, but failed and choose the dark side, they are great bookmaker for gambling, but not winning, just like almost any other bookmaker online.
Why they dont have a casino I will never know lol
