#387They also have the highest limits of all the offshore books so they have to watch their backs. People can be multi accounting to bypass these limits. They have limits of 50–100k on some NFL games and when you have a pro that is multi accounting, you can see why they are so strict with KYC.Comment -

You'd think if they actually caught people mutli accounting they would say something rather than just ghost people and say they're still working on it. You and any non rookie know sites are quick to explain why they don't want your action. Bookmaker seems like a great site from everything I heard and read but something happened with their customer support/KYC.Comment -

Saying you have not had a problem yourself is irrelevant in the face of weekly complaints from other increasing and getting more inexplicable over time. So please point out the specific example of lies that are bothering you.
And the places that advertise for offshore books only have posters who tell "the truth"?
Don't be naive. The only change at SBR regarding these books is that negative feedback is not deleted..Comment -

Hmmm... so suddenly SBR is the one place posters flock to to tell lies about books now you think?

#394Wow Optional, are being you actually being serious? You are telling me the gigantics of the industry being Bookmaker and Betonline are scamming people. The only people being scammed by either book are the ones trying to do it themselves. I have been with both books for over two decades and have never had a single issue with either of them. They both offer the sharpest lines available and literally pay out within minutes to an hour or two. This place used to be a bastion for the offshore industry and instead has become a schill for the onshore crap. Good luck with mispriced SGP and Profit BoostsLast edited by EasyTiger; 12-13-24, 11:30 PM.Comment -

We no longer promote or mediate for non USA/CA licensed books but many members are still in states that don't have access to those and there has been zero attempts from the new management to prevent open and honest discussion about ANY book on this forum.
You won't find any posts from SBR staff, and very few from posters, telling people they should not use offshore . In fact you will find a recent too long winded argument in the main Bookmaker/Justbet/CRIS thread where I am arguing that they are not illegal.
Speaking of that thread, you should check out a few of the reports from people you are saying are "trying to do it to themselves" in there before you keep railing against them https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for....php?t=3744224
Unfortunately the CRIS group really does have an issue with player management thats been ongoing for about a year now. It probably does not affect many old time users, but there has been a constant flow of people caught up in never ending KYC and they just don't address genuine player issues the way they used to.
There is no similar problem with Betonline that we have observed btw. So they don't deserve to have you wrap them up with the Bookmaker problems the way you have..Comment -

#403As I stated before years ago. Since sports betting became legal in the US Bookmaker took a tremendous hit. They canned half the staff, discontinued phone wagers and even phone contact to resolve issues. Now they use the phony KYC crap to avoid paying. How any book that takes your money and does not reply to Emails or anything else for weeks or even months can be even considered a bookmaker is beyond me. Play at your own risk...Comment -

#404I've been betting with Bookmaker for a long time. They took away my points bonus feature but paid me out for the points I had which was about 300 bucks worth. I have never had a problem with them paying me out and I've beat the Sh*t out of them. Can't speak for any new customers but they are solid for me. I will add they are one of the sharpest books for NCAA B and NBA. They move their lines faster than anyone. I constantly bet steam into them and lines will nap adjust as soon as I bet. I have noticed they have reduced my limits a bit but nothing crazy.Comment -

#405If I may add in again,
I think like most things if you've been on the site for a while you're going to be taken care of. I think we could all agree from the surface Bookmaker seemed to be the most lenient of all books (1-5% cash back which almost nobody does, they rarely void wagers (I had a few past arb of 50+ points that they still graded). Even though I was only on for a few months I was placing 20+ mostly wagers a day and was pleased at no limit or voids.
Usually books like this overcorrect and start being less user friendly in some facet. As Optional's timeline mentions, in the last year there's more posts regarding KYC and mostly loss of bookmaker points. Why would someone be eligible for points for years (like post above) and they have it removed with no change in their activity, and without explanation from the site.
I played a U.S site called ThriveFantasy since existence the last few years and they treated me like royalty lol, even sent me a "swag bag" and free jersey of my choice from Fanatics. Their CEO claims they got hit with a fraud check scheme and they haven't processed payouts now in over a year. I know links aren't allowed here but check their app reviews/google search. Sometimes books/apps get hit or just go south if the $ isn't there and users suffers. I still don't think slandering the book or each other helps anything though.Comment -

#407The history of Know Your Customer(KYC) can be traced back to the 1970s and the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA):
- 1970s: The BSA required financial institutions to detect and report suspicious activity.
So how come just the past few years the delays and BS started. Must be a coincidence that this was after the US legalized Sports Betting for operators licensed IN the US?Comment -

#413Bookmaker SCAM - Crypto Withdrawl
WARNING!!!Make sure you take screenshots and save them showing the wallet address you're sending in to Bookmaker for withdrawls....
I requested a $1200 withdrawl via ETC (Ethereum) a couple weeks ago to my Robinhood account. I got an email from Bookmaker indicating it was completed/processed. Couple days later still hadn't shown up so I contacted them. Long story made short... they sent the $ to a totally different ETC wallet address that was not even generated from Robinhood.
I did some research and your ETC address doesn't change in Robinhood and the ETC address they sent the $ is out of BeaverBuild which apparently is know for scams, illegal activity, etc. I've tried my best to have them investigate this internally but to no avail, they just keep repeating that they only send the $ to the address users send them. Even though it's not even possible that address can from me. Here's the address they sent $ to: 0xC0962C3468d943c730558E4B2847E6539c1785 46
This is the hash: 0xd8924d320f70b7014e3da06d5110e67f9fc4a8 4a9b019ed57aa75a228700107b
NOTE: I was up to $2200 on a $500 deposit. I've since withdrawn $500 the same way and it came no problem.Comment -

#414Hello everyone!
I found this forum on Google and realized that the verification problem is common.
So, on March 30, I registered an account.
I bet little and lost.
I had 1430 USD left on my account. I decided to withdraw money.
The payment was canceled, the account was blocked.
I sent documents 3 times. Passport, selfie with passport, selfie with date.
I sent a Bitcoin payment verification form (KYCBTCR).
The first time I sent documents was on April 10, then on June 8, then on October 25.
There were several dozen correspondences in the chat, sometimes they asked for documents again, I sent them.
No results. I did not take bonuses and did not win ANYTHING.
I suspect that I made deposits in LTC, and the only withdrawal I requested was in BTC.Comment -

Use their preferred currency Litecoin and you’ll never have an issue. Also, you should never send crypto from a sportsbook directly into an exchange’s wallet. Eventually this will trigger your exchange’s KYC team and they’ll ask you to prove ownership of that wallet where the crypto is coming from. If you can’t prove ownership, they will eventually close your account.
If withdrawing from a sportsbook, send it to a hardware wallet that you own. From there you can send to exchange.Last edited by wombat; 12-17-24, 07:04 PM.Comment -

“The primary advantage of a hardware wallet is its superior security compared to other wallet types, as it stores your private keys completely offline, making it virtually impossible for hackers to access your cryptocurrency unless they physically steal the device itself; this is considered the most secure way to store large amounts of cryptocurrency due to its isolation from online threats like malware and phishing attacks.”Last edited by wombat; 12-18-24, 05:30 PM.Comment
