Lower tier onshore books are complete garbage
    Really a world of difference.

    From my experience:

    Top tier onshores:

    Fanduel
    Draftkings
    Betmgm
    Caesars
    Pointsbet
    Wynnbet
    Sugarhouse/BetRivers

ID verification is quick. You can reach someone on live support. The websites work without glitching. Promotion terms are clear. Really well run and professional. Say what you want about lack of bonuses and limits, atleast its not a total clownshow.

One certain book here has not verified the documents I upload in more than 4 days. The live chat always has atleast 10 people waiting in front of me. By the time I've waited 15 minutes, it logs me out due to inactivity. Other of the lower tier books have been the same, its a monster pain to do anything.

I really don't know how they expect to compete with a worse experience versus other books with better experience and a larger marketing expense. Why bother if this is what the product is going to be.

Good info. Which ones do you consider tier 2 or tier 3 Waters?

I look like a degen writing this out:
I would put Superbook in the first tier. They seem to be getting better as far as taking more than $100 on events. They are happy to take 200+ NHL wagers.
      2nd Tier:
Foxbet: Ok verification process, website tends to glich sometimes with the location check. Hard to get live help, have to log into pokerstars and ask that way

Barstool : Was OK, didn't really see a point in continuing on after getting risk free bet

Unibet: If I remeber, the verification process was kind of a pain. They have the same lines as betrivers, which is better tech

Tipico: was App only, which was annoying. They have desktop now, but I've already been limited. Would use them if I got a bonus

      Third Tier:

Bet365: Verification was annoying, because they did not tell you that you didnt pass, you had to ask

Golden Nugget was the book in the original post. Them and Hard Rock I am having the same issue with.

I have all of the first tier funded. At this point, its just picking up bonuses. Or until I get the axe from Betrivers and need another Kambi out.

I use Unibet and Bet365 more than most books myself. Mostly due to good motorsport coverage. I find their support pretty good when i have needed them though.

I am very leery about Hard Rock terms of service and usually think if an operator chooses terms that are unfair, they are likely to not think fairly in general.

I think Golden Nugget isn't quite as organized or staffed as your tier one group as likely reason there.

What terms were unfair with Hard Rock? I was mostly looking at the casino bonus, as you can cover it with a few games that are low edge.

I haven't read the full terms as yet but have checked out their dispute resolution pathway if a disagreement comes up. There is no option for free of cost mediation and they try to sideline the regulator from the process by making users "agree" to binding arbitration at your own cost. Which can easily be more than a regular court case.

In other words they are attempting to make disputing their decisions for anything less than very large value amounts "impossible", keeping any legal cases off the public record, and "tricking" people into giving up any right to a fair hearing in a civil court.

People who think they can write terms like that are obviously unfair thinkers in my opinion. And I bet would bet dollars to donuts there will be more unfair terms in there once we do review it all.

              Interesting.

There is a little bit of an illusion of safety when it comes to onshore books.

The safety comes from the value of the regulatory over sight. If the regulator actually does a good job. But the downside comes from complicated terms that can easily be used to produce unfair outcomes when unfair minded operators choose.

Making sharp players and arbers go through intrusive source of funds/wealth (SoF/SoW) processes when it's not called for is a common one for the bad actors.
