Bookmaker giving me the run around??
I was trying to verify my cc’s to withdraw from bookmaker well I lost one card and I am not able to take photo of the front and back. So bookmaker said I need a letter from my bank saying the account is closed.

I got the letter and took a photo of it and now they’re saying it looks tampered with and doesn’t look official…

They need a stamp and signature. Who is gunna sign a letter saying my account was closed and I received a replacement card… just annoying.

I called my bank and they have no idea what I’m talking about. They provided me the only letter they are able to give me.

So my money is stuck with them.

It shouldn't be stuck with them. There needs to be a way around this. Lost/stolen/expired cards happen, and banks aren't going to modify their standard procedures for a single customer. Hopefully someone can help mediate this issue with Bookmaker for you, but I'm not sure SBR is that place anymore.

Can you get it notarized? When I’ve lost a card or don’t have access to it any more the book usually just lets it go. When does/did the card expire?

Every bank has a stamp with the date and the bank's name on it. They use these on the back of cheques, for example. Ask your bank to stamp the letter with one of these stamps. They will do it no problem.

Just have a teller hit the letter with her date stamper. Has bank ID and date in the stamp.

Don't worry, this can be fixed.

Take the advices below and if that does not work you can PM me and I will point you in the right direction

^^^ that will work. Either have a notary sign that the document appears to be an unaltered original, or fill out a Statutory Declaration form saying you attest it as original and have a notary or police officer or bank official witness that for you.

^^^ Another good idea. Ask the bank teller to look at it, check records, confirm it is correct and Stamp it for you.

Send that back to Bookmaker and I think you will find it is enough.

if not, PM me and I am sure we can still get it sorted out.

Amazing how easy it is to deposit and how hard it is to withdraw.

It's super easy to withdraw if you don't use a card. And it should be obvious why offshores need to be very careful with cards.

They are a pain in the ass

A few weeks ago I submitted my statements for overcharge refunds and they wanted my name and account number on the same screenshot as the charges. It’s impossible to do that because name and account number is on top of page and will not fit on same screen.

They already have all my card info. Should be easy enough to match the dates and amounts to the date and amounts of deposits. Do they really think I’m sending screenshots of someone else’s card who deposited on the same dates as me? Ridiculous!

Every rep there reviews in a different way

Take multiple screenshots with overlap so one can easily tie screenshot #1 to screenshot #2, etc by what appears at the bottom/top of each. Or get screenshot software which supports scrolling so you can get everything in one grab (but shouldn't be necessary).
