My 5Dimes payout experience (bitcoin)

I'm a fan of both 5Dimes and Bookmaker and faster is definitely better when it comes to getting paid but for me the racebook is the most important factor when choosing between these two.

Bookmakers racebook is inferior to 5Dimes in many ways, for example: 5Dimes offers more tracks and has smaller minimum wagers on exotics which is HUGE. Bookmaker pick4, pick5 trifectas and superfecta minimums are $1 when 5Dimes offers $0.25. 5Dimes live betting also superior to BM.

I love dimes but the other major advantage with Bovada is that there is a per race cap (ie $10k per race). Dimes has that as well but also caps the max odds for exotics depending on track classification. I hit a .50 exacta at Royal Ascot that paid $2,700 for $2. Thought I had a nice $675 score. Wrong. Dimes caps that meet as a lower tier track (one of the biggest meets in the world). I got around $110.

That alone makes swinging for big quinellas in HK, etc pointless.

The problem for me with Bovada (BoDog) is that they do not offer Canadian tracks and 90% of my play is on Woodbine/Woodbine harness/Fort Erie/Western Fair.

You'd get the impression all gamblers deeply care if their payout takes 1 hour or 3 hours from reading this forum sometimes.

Whilst I think reality is that 80%+ of gamblers don't care if it is 2 hours or 2 days as long as the book offers what they want and they have no doubt about being paid.

When a book lists its payout time-frames on its site clearly for everyone to see its absolutely paramount that they payout within that time.

It is unacceptable to be 1 minute late. If they say within 48 hours and it takes 48 hours & 1 minute then thats a broken promise.

I have no problem with 48 hour bitcoin payouts from offshore books as long as they deliver within the 48 hours and not 1 minute later.

I think with the evolution of bitcoin a payout should be done within 24 hours at most. The most important thing as a player is to be 100% assured your funds are secure and, the payout is done swiftly. When a book can not be counted on for a payout, gives you the run around, or it is not timely the player losses confidence.
