    Newb Airbitz/Bitcoin Question...
I use Airbitz for my wallet but I guess this is a general bitcoin question.

Should I be changing my bitcoin wallet address everytime I send or receive money? I guess I can change the address by going to the menu on the top left and choosing "request".

I'm asking because I clicked request and notice that my wallet address has changed now.

Is it ok to send money to a book with one wallet address and then have them send the payout to a different wallet address?

pretty sure the answers all all YES but just want to make sure before I request my payout.

I had about 60 transactions between blockchain and circle and 25 or so between blockchain and coinbase all using the same wallet address from blockchain and never had a problem. I did recently change the blockchain address though, not sure if there was a reason to.

But yes, it's ok to change the wallet and deposit to book with one and receive to another. That's how I did it when I first started (bookmaker), I didn't realize you could keep the same wallet, so I'd deposit and not write down the info to log back in, so I'd have to get a new one and withdrawal to that one.

For safety sake...I would recommend changing the address for each transaction. It only adds a few seconds...I think most other Bitcoin vets would advise the same thing...

New to this Bitcoin thing. Did my first withdrawal from 5dimes and took about 4 days for the money to get from book to my bank. I'm liking this. Question, How do I change the address on Blockchain?

Click on "Your Bitcoin Address" next to the send and receive buttons near top.

Then click the link that says "Click here to use a new address for increased privacy."
                    .

Sounds like you could be using the old version interface?

If so, there should be a link somewhere to swap to the new version that i am talking about.

Blockchain will automatically create a new address to your wallet after each transaction.

Old version, click on send. A new page will appear where it says change address.

It looks a lot easier to backup and have control over your wallet with the old interface than with the new interface IMO.
