#212I have had two successful withdrawals from 1vice in the past two weeks. Same day or even hours sometimes. Great work and now they have a bonus point system to get free withdrawals.
Griffin is the man! Thanks 1viceComment -

#214So this is the reason why 1vice stopped offering the big promos but they still have the standard 100% fp for 10x rollover on $100 deposits. What really sucks with them is the sports options have been really trimmed down. Missing some of the international leagues now and no more alternate lines for most games.
With that being said, anyone have an alternative to 1vice with similar bonus offers but better sports selections?Comment -

#215Originally posted by hedge1 Vice stiffed me for $7000 in contest wins, $2k here and $5k at Madjacks. Then today, less than 2 weeks later I receive an offer from Stiffin' Griffen to enter his NCAA tourney bracket contest (see below). The prick obviously forgot to take me off his mailing list. He can't afford to pay his clients off, but he can sponsor another contest.....WTF? While many clients are completing a forced rollover on their balance that should be free and clear, Stiffin Griffin is still doing the same old things that got him into this situation. Never change 1-Vice.

He did not cut a deal. He was offered a fraction of his balance and told he could take it or leave it by Stiffin Griffin.
His options were $5000 now or nothing. Hardly him cutting a deal.
He had $7000 stolen from him by 1Vice.Comment -

#219Notice how all the people who have been "paid" in the last couple weeks are accounts with under 100 posts, no logo and no history of being a useful user.
1vice has also been known for shilling and SBR reps have called them out on it. They even locked one of the threads where the shilling was too much.
Most likely these accounts were created by 1vice workers or owners.Comment -

#221That money got stolen by Robbie (RDG). He apparently pulled a fast one on the poster and maybe Griffin since he was upset about him doing a deal with Robbie. Robbie and Griffin don't seem on the same page with this situation. This whole deal maybe not a bed of roses for anybody. RDG may have to pay out the whole book with only partial ownership because they made a terrible deal.
This stuff will have to get paid off eventually. Very doubtful people are going to make enough deposits if this is hanging out there. You can get away with this when you fold 1Vice into America's Bookie. But it will not work with keeping 1Vice up and running. They need to figure some this out before it is too late. They can never live this down. It will last for years.Comment -

They really screwed up a good thing, and I hope he turns it around. Was one of the best books for customer service that I`ve ever used, and the bonuses were crazy, which is what got them in trouble in my opinion.Comment -

#224Clearly he didn't.
Griffin cut a deal, which was to steal $7k from his customer.
It was a deal for Griffin because he saved $7k.
The player was given an ultimatum and the player understandably opted for a partial payout instead of $0.
A player owed alot of money and being given an ultimatum by the bookie is not "cutting a deal".Comment -

I know a few other guys like myself with larger balances that were offered options of either taking larger payouts up front and losing part of balance or taking smaller up front payouts and going on payout schedule.

It wasn't Griffin. It was Robbie. Griffin claimed he would pay him in full. He dealt with Robbie who gave him the take it or leave it. It is all the same in the end but apparently not as far as 1Vice/RDG is concerned for some strange reason.
I think Griffin probably have paid the guy but he didn't deal with him. I am sure it will be dealt with eventually but not before it costs them way more than $7,000.Comment -

Exactly. Deal was not done by Griffin. Hedge agreed to this deal in my opinion. If you have no balance owed to you by 1V, stay out of the conversation. My worry is that people that have no vested interest bash 1V so much that they close up shop and no one gets paid out.
You have a legitimate worry. Good luck getting people that don't have any money at 1Vice out of the conversation because the future of 1Vice is entirely dependent on them. Because people like yourself are headed for the exits. That's why these threads are so destructive and 1Vice/RDG need to settle up fast and get them done. They need people to feel comfortable with money at 1Vice and all anybody wants is out and nowhere near it.Comment -

Your not providing the whole story or facts "pal". As Buffalo Nickle stated the deal or ultimatum was done by "Robbie", not by "Stiffin Griffin", as you stated earlier. Information is valuable, as long as it is the truth. Hedge did state at another site that the offer was done by someone other then Griffin.Last edited by tyson895; 03-06-16, 09:39 PM.Comment -

#238Oh yeah great book guys... Griffen is the man guys....
Just read for yourself from money earned fair and square. Some guy gets lucky and wins a contest which barely ever happens to people now has to take some bs deal...
A complaint was filed by a player who won $7,000 total from contests at two third-party forums. The player agreed to a settlement whereby he received only funds won from his straight-up deposits, though the player feared he would not be paid if he did not accept the settlement; the player now wants to be paid in full. SBR advises players to avoid making agreements while under duress, as once a deal is reached, few betting sites will break an established agreement.Comment -

#239Kind of reminds me of that Chris Rock "I take care of my kids" joke. I hardly think saying he will pay players money they legitimately won under some restrictions eventually is cause to post about how great someone is. Feel free to post payouts you actually receive in the payout thread but if you come in here throwing around terms like class act after all the nonsense that happened expect to be called out as a shill. I can respect that rdg appears to be trying to do the right thing but if sbr is going to be of any value to guys like me then guys like me have to call this nonsense out. You can't have something like this happen then post that the guy who caused it is awesome because he says he will make it right in time. Angry, wait and see or over it because you finally got paid are the only three genuine emotions anyone with money in this should have.Comment -
