Way too confusing. I still don't understand it. So you have to give them $500 out of your account in order to bet on a team?

        no

deposit $500 qualifies you to pick a team that is not listed at a higher amount

if you want one of the above teams the deposit amount has to equal the price of that team

the money is yours to bet and you even get a bonus on that deposit

of course picking a $500 team is a no brainer

                41-41 ats

                +17,450

not a bad profit for 1 season

we need to look at past ats results and see what teams have covered spread

since we cant fade our team

someone post the stats if they have them

                thanks

                        book A= $550 to win $1000 the other book B (other team) = $812 to win $738

This is the promotion I was seeing yesterday and thought it deserved some break down..
$500 deposit buys me a team, ok I get that. Now all season long my winning wager on this team will be doubled, this is correct?
Also saw temple with the break down of hedge the other team.
Seems like a genuine good deal for the player and my hat is off to them to reward players in such a way even if it is only 500 at a time, I will take it.

Are you sure its not just the first 3 weeks of the season that you double your winnings?

If it is all season then this will indeed be too good to be true.

I have spoke with them and say the entry to qualify for the promo is up until NOV 16th, actually they told me Nov 8th first off and then when I asked more questions they told me The material was dated for Nov 16th as closing date for entry to the promo.
That the promo was good for the full regular season.
too good to be true if I can stay on the winning side, I am thinking to purchase two teams, one East and one West. who knows might make it to the FINALS lololol now that would be money.

That's bare minimum. Assuming other Book(s) has some semblance of reduced juice, and assuming you can find 1/2 point differences occasionally where you'll push/win, can make alot more. Really does seem too good to be true. Good luck to all players that take advantage of this.

I dont see how a book can afford to offer this kind of promotion. And why does it "cost" more to chose Cavs, Spurs etc.? Just because they get more wins, doesnt mean they win more often ATS. It makes no sense.

I'm sorry but if this was a legit promo it would bankrupt the book. If it was $5000 to buy a team then OK but literally I could make 5k at least off this GUARANTEED, no way they just simply allow this. Plus people say they are quick to ban so what happens if they ban you after a couple games?? I've had nothing but good experiences with 1Vice but this really seems like a ploy to bring in deposits. I don't like seeing this honestly and this really concerns me. As a financial analyst and consultant, there is no way this is a sustainable business method.

So you bet your team every single night for the $500 max and then bet the other side on another site. Sounds impossible to lose?

So worst case, if you had the Kings last year... You would still have profited $7,150 ($33,000 won and $25,850 lost).

copied from another site, but sheds some great light..
Yes the mathematics would be correct. average 41 and 41 wins.. not against the spread.

But even so for every one of him that has Dallas Mavericks and there are four guys who have Houston rockets and Dallas beats the Rockets. Well 1VICE pays 1k to him and takes 2k from the other players. So instead of us winning the 1500 we should have we have chosen a bonus that will reward players loyalty?

You have to understand that is one individuals perspective.

Yes he has every right to believe he can make a profit from his team of choice.. and is welcome to come in for the promo and bet his team every night they play to carve out that profit.. If the team becomes that good to be winning all the time what do you think the spread would be? Its entirely possible that a team could go to the NBA finals in a year and never, ever cover the spread.

So to all the mathematicians that think they have it figured out, they forget we house many, many, many players. So for every one of them on the right side, unfortunately many times there are many, many others on the wrong side.

So again this is the same thing as offering everyone a discount in juice. We are willing to make a little less of a profit by offering some extra winnings to the players.

In the example above we should take 1700 profit on a flat minus 110 game. as player A would normally win 500 and players b,c,d,e would lose 2200 so we would win 1700. We have decided to take a less of a cut and give the lucky winner 1k for being a loyal 1vice customer. and we only take 1200 from that example.

That is what we always do at 1VICE is reward loyal players with great bonuses and all around good online book all year. We are not greedy and we know we will see yet another winning season for us again in basketball this year and also make some lucky players very happy...

Our Bonuses and Promotions and Contests are NEVER EQUALED by any other book, Often RIVALED, BUT NEVER EQUALED

This is a loyalty reward to good to pass up for anyone who plays or wants to play here at 1VICE.

We have been rewarding and offering the best promotions and contests in the business for quite a few years now and again this promo is just another great position for any player to take advantage. They will then see why playing at 1VICE is better than any other shop out there...

No gimmicks come in, buy your team, take the bonus and get paid double your winning bet on your team ats all season long.

Just contact us the following morning and say "hey I had a winning bet on Houston last night" we will credit the double up while you are on the phone.. We know it will be costly to give some good NBA guys steady money but why not? They remain loyal to us we remain loyal to them..

Done some digging around and looked at some of the negatives.
                                                          1. say must contact following morning, no double bonus will be added later than the next day. so this would be important to keep in mind.
Says any one player can buy up to five teams, 2. if the teams play against each other then cannot bet both sides, *betting both sides in any single event is bonus abuse.
Says teams will sell out first come first served basis.
3 Says max double win amount is $500, so would be $550 to win 500. not everyone has $500 limits so the math could be misleading by others.
                                                          4. long piece from them says it is the same as a loyalty reward for loyal players, maybe all will not be accepted to take advantage of the offer.

personally, I am well funded there at the moment but am going to break off a G to get two teams, how can I fail. maybe I lose all in college and recoup on NBA
who knows seems too good to pass up as I cn do major betfair trading on this offer.. so well worth it to me...
