Bitcoin Deposit Issue *Resolved

I made a deposit to the address given to me several days ago and WAS CREDITED FOR IT ON MY 5DIMES ACCOUNT.

So my fault for assuming that THE SECOND DEPOSIT would be successful!!!! You okay?????

But you didn't recognise that it was your own address the first time?

I've never used bitcoin so don't really understand the wallet thing it seems.
Seems odd to me that you don't have access to your wallet which should contain the bitcoin you sent to yourself?
Who ends up with the bitcoins if neither you nor 5dimes have them?

Please follow Optional's advice and submit a complaint.

I have just done so. This thread is to communicate to all the fact that 5dimes epay department made a big mistake and that it could happen to anybody. I could have easily rectified the situation had I KNOWN myself the address was wrong. But every time they sent me someones name in the Philippines to send money to or a wallet address to deposit too I just assume they are right and doing their job correctly. In this case they did not do their job correctly and now I lost the money. And yes they lost money as well but THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU SEND THE WRONG DAMN WALLET ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!

I filed the complaint. I understand the wallet is mine and I been digging through my email addresses trying to figure out which damn wallet its in. Anyone that knows ANYTHING about bitcoin knows the simplicity of changing your wallet address or EVEN the account in which the address is linked too. The fact of the matter is I could have a thousand wallet address' and a thousand wallet accounts if I choose to.

so 5dimes epay department *ucks up and now I have to deal with it? I really thought they were a stand up book... but when the guys handling your deposits does something this stupid it really shows what type of people they hiring and how they training them.

5dimes I want my 10.2 btc credited to my account or my 10.2 btc reimbursed to me and my account closed!

I have been playing on 5Dimes for several years now and have been making all of my most recent deposits using bitcoin. Several days ago I called 5dimes and asked that they send me the wallet address I use to make deposits into my 5dimes account. A few minutes later I had an email from the epay department at 5dimes with the deposit address. I made a deposit for 10 btc and within an hour had my money in my 5dimes account. Yesterday I decided to make another deposit for 10.2 btc using the same wallet address and come to find out 5dimes claims the address given to me by the epay department is actually my wallet address and that I have been sending to myself. I do agree that the wallet address WAS mine but the problem I do not have access to that wallet account on blockchain anymore. The 10btc (original deposit which I was credited for) is still there and the 10.2 which I attempted to deposit yesterday is still there, nothing has moved.

Now 5dimes requests that I send all the coin back to them when in reality i DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ANY OF THEM.

I have the original email that 5dimes sent me with the wallet address. They did not figure out the problem until AFTER the second deposit and like I said gladly credited me the first time and allowed me to play!!!!

5dimes epay department they made a big mistake... sending the wrong address and not double checking they had it correct. Anyone that deals with bitcoin knows to doublecheck the address is correct before you send a decent amount of coin!

Now the 10.2 btc I lost and can't play with. Sucks because I live in vegas too and could have easily turned to cash and wagered at brick and mortar!!!!


If possible I would like someone from sbrforum.com to help me out with this issue. 5dimes mistake costed me 10btc and now I'm SOL.

Damn, that is a big transfer to not check the address.
