Any offshore books accept Bitcoin??

Seeing as the bitcoin market is falling.. why would you want to do this? I'm guessing to dump the bitcoin you have into something more stable?

In any event, I'm just looking for alternatives. Was "blacklisted" from ** awhile back, HATE dealing with **, and I am just not fond of having any of my banking accounts tied to offshore books in any way. Bitcoin, while unstable, would at least be free from regulations from the US Govt. As for Bitcoin itself, I bought into it in its infancy, and I was told by some very savvy investors that I was a fool not to dump it off when it was at $80. Didn't flinch when it dropped down to around $550 yesterday from around $1,000. Wouldn't even think about dumping it off today at $650.

I don't know how the bitcoin transfer system works but is there a way to buy bitcoin with USD, then immediately transfer to a sportsbook, then the sportsbook would have to be able to immediately sell the bitcoin for USD. That's the only way it could work.

The way the Bitcoin books work is that you bet Bitcoins. If you win you can take the money out of your wallet as soon as the bet is graded with no transaction fee. In this way the very idea of "deposits" is done away with. So the worst thing a scam book can do is steal bets from one night's wagering, not an entire deposit.

I've been betting BTC at CasinoBitco.in for a few weeks.

The site is a bit clunky (design). Kind of reminds me of the early days of TheGreek.

The site breaks 1 BTC into 1000 "pieces". So you can upload 1/2 a BTC and you'll have 500 units to wager with so you don't have to worry about the price of BTC going up or down.

As a test, the first time I uploaded .02 of a BTC. Made one bet (won) and withdrew the full balance.

Have won a couple small parlays, and withdrew immediately. First withdraw (the single bet) took around 6 hours to hit my wallet. Next 2 took about 20 minutes. Reminded me of the old Pinnacle/Net.teller days where you could win and cash out within minutes.

Like I said - it's old school and definitely has room to improve, but if you just want to throw a bit on a game, it's been solid for me. They replied to my email pretty quickly too when I was curious as to how long my first withdrawal would take.

I've played at Nitrogen Sports this month. Instant withdrawals, lots of games and sports available and same lines than pinnacle. They're quite new but so far so good.

No point depositing more than what you bet and always withdraw the excess. That way you won't lose much if shit hits the fan.

I don't want to bet bitcoins. I keep hearing that it is a cheap way to transfer funds. I'd just want to make a quick transfer to/from a book then convert to dollars.

It is easy to convert USD to BTC and BTC to USD. The problem is getting the USD back to your bank account or in cash. I dont think there will be any books converting BTC to USD because of the extreme volatility of BTC.

I found .88 BTC in my wallet from two years ago. At the time it was worth less than $5. Two years later it was worth over $900 so I started wagering with it. I placed a .22 wager on Auburn +9.5 when the line came out. Since then I have seen my $220 equivalent wager go down to $100 up, down, up down. By the time the game rolls around I could have $220 on the game or $22. Who knows. That is the problem with Bitcoins and gambling right now, Bitcoins are gambing.
