    TheGreek misleading customers
    Hello,

Yesterday I received this email in my inbox:
    Gerard,

We want to apologize to you for receiving an email from us yesterday advertising our sign-up, first deposit bonus even though you were already a customer. We know this caused some confusion, and we sincerely apologize for that. We do want to let you know we have a basketball season opener promotion for existing customers too! Qualify for a reload bonus and receive double the normal amount: 20% from October 29 through November 12. We are also offering a very unique 30% back NBA promotion that everyone is quite excited about. Please feel free to tell your friends who are not members at The Greek about our sign-up, first deposit bonus and we will reward your account for the referral as well. Thank you for your continued support.

    The Greek Team
So I login and make a 2000 euro deposit. Then I email if they can please credit the bonus. But I receive this reply:
    Dear Gerard,

    Thank you for your email.

Please be informed that unfortunately your account is not eligible for the reload bonus.

We do apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    Regards,

    Tanneisha

Oh I see my copy/paste of the promotion email didn't go that well. Anyway, you can still read the text when you select it with your mouse.

The point is that TheGreek sent me a personalized email telling me about an NBA reload bonus, and then when I make my deposit they tell me "oh sorry, you are not eligible after all".

I think this is no way to treat your customers. It would have been easy enough for them to only send this promotional email to the customers who would be eligible in the first place. Now they just cheated me into making a deposit which I will have to rollover. Bastards!

No it's just that I am not in the minus overall and I didn't bet during the last 30 days.

But either way, sharp account or not, they should just not send those promotional emails to customers who aren't eligible in the first place.

I think this is horrible customer service!

This is there sign up 1st deposit bonus and wasnt intended for people who had deposited before, is what I got from the email. If you had deposited before then you might have called them to clarify before depositing- just my 2 cents.

No, you got that wrong. They did indeed send an email about a signup bonus to all existing customers the day before. And then one day later they sent out this email I copy/pasted with an apology and a reload offer instead.
Which was not meant for me afterall. Very annoying.

They pull this shit all the time, so do other books.

They do state that you must qualify before you will get a bonus.

                That's what you missed.
