An exchange is opening shortly in the California market initially, for horse racing. It's not much, but it's a start.

I loved betmaker and made good money last football season there. Too bad there wasn't enough players !! I think i had the last matched bet there the night before it closed. Had Seton Hall plus the points vs. Pitt and somebody matched my 750 dollar bet. Really really miss the site as well as the old matchbook and mansion. I was telling my girlfriend the other day what the heck am i gonna do for football without a darn exchange. I loved the ingames on Sunday night football. It was great . I think way too many American bettors don't have any clue what they are missing without exchanges !!!!

For exchanged to work in the US, the laws will have to change first.

Mansion use to have a betting exchange (it was short lived for US residents). I remember opening night in 2006 for football they had like the craziest promotion ever. It was $1000 free play on i think either the Steelers or Dolphins. Can't remember much more about it. All i know that it was free money ! Good times.

Ok well I have a twinspires account in California but I haven't heard anything about it. But it sounds interesting.
