Where is the pics of betislands office?
I saw 5Dimes and youwager. I am guessing this would show 6 people ina one room office. show us the office when it was a thriving business or where they used to operate.

    surely this is public info

There is a whole lot of people who would say you are being extremely nice to say they were just being lazy..it could possibly go well beyond that..but im still hoping SBR can help us with some kind of bailout so im going to wait and see what happens with that.

Honestly, my opinion is that SBR got lazy and did not investigate properly. They didn't do the onsite inspections that they used to do. They did not investigate when the red flags started to appear; instead they just took the word of a "friend of the family". I'm sure they feel burned also, but ultimately, SBR did not do its job, and the result was this.

Thats your opinion, you think they got burned also..there are plenty of others who dont think they got burned in any way..im not saying you are wrong, but i dont like the way SBR has handled this at all. They made people confident that there money was safe because BI had strong financial backing, but when things didnt work out they wouldnt release any names because they have to live there and fear for the safety of their family..i dont know man, something doesn't smell right to me. Im just hoping SBR can convince someone to help us out with a bailout..maybe give them some free advertising, pull a few strings somehow..just fukking get it done somehow.

I'm just not understanding connection between a picture of an office and the security of your money.

So you think they are guilty of fraud. I think they are guilty of negligence. Either way, it sucks. I just know that there is not a lot of proof regarding the fraud claim; only circumstantial claims and hearsay. However, there is a lot of evidence they were negligent, and just downright lazy in their handling of this situation; prior, during and after the failure.

something just isnt adding up. If there was a "financial backer" that sbr was so confident in as a solid/ honest person with money. He then disappears and sbr will not expose him because they fear for there safety from him? how honest was this person ever to begin with?

                                          Dear former Bet Islands customers,

After BetIslands ceased operations this week, players have been left wondering about their deposits and winnings and BI employees without a paycheck. While there has been plenty of finger pointing going around, EZ Street has decided to step up and try to help as many people as possible affected by this situation.

Prior to the closure of BI, we attempted to step in and save it, but we were unable to obtain a proper audit of the nearly 2 million in account balances. There were multiple reasons for this, including poor management and a high number of sharps, bonus manipulators and syndicate players.

Because of this, a blanket bailout program is not feasible as certain accounts, identities, deposits and balances can never be truly verified. We understand that some will not be happy to hear this, but we want to be upfront so there are no unrealistic expectations.

We have spent the past week working on details of a possible bailout program. We hope this program will help brighten the holidays for both players and ex-employees.

In the following days we will be sending out an email with a generous bailout offer to many of the affected customers. To help expedite the situation we are offering employment to ex-BI account managers and customer service workers. We have partnered with the RX sports forum to document that everyone that has been invited to participate has been given everything they were promised in a professional and timely manner. Because so many players have been affected it will take us a few days to get to all of you.

                                          Happy Holidays
                                          Management
