Obviously Bill didn't keep his promise to update yesterday. He needs to take his own advice and "man up" with where we all stand. Good or bad, I just want to hear it from him.

Are you sure he promised to have an update? i dont remember the exact wording of his post, but i thought he said something along the lines of should or probably will have an update..id have to check what he said again..either way he has handled it poorly, if he didnt have an update he should have came in to the thread and told us that, he knows there are plenty of people anxiously waiting for answers..taking 1 minute out of his day to tell people the update is going to be delayed is not too much to ask for.

I think it's easy to get frustrated and be pessimistic when you see a large figure like $1.5M gone, but if we can break it down into smaller goals then a full bailout may become more manageable. The first priority should be in repaying actual player money (the lesser amount of net deposits or balances). For example, a sharp player makes a total of $5000 in deposits, $0 in withdrawals, and runs up a $20,000 balance at the time of closure. On the other hand, a recreational player deposits a total of $1,000 and has a $600 balance remaining at closure. Priority would be given to repaying the $5,000 to the sharp and $600 to the recreational player before repaying the $15,000 in sharp winnings.

Maybe SBR can allocate a small percentage of their annual revenue (whatever they would feel comfortable with) towards a player recovery fund, or if members here would be interested in donating any points or cash, SBR can provide some type of match on those donations. Personally, I'd be willing to donate all my points to such a fund if it would help get the ball rolling.

Also, obviously no book wants to take on the entire $1.5M exposure, but the several books that have expressed an interest so far can start with a smaller allocation of maybe $100K-$150K with whatever terms they deem necessary. This could work as a test run to gauge the bailout's profitability, and if everything works out they can allocate the remainder of funds needed to get all players repaid.

Receiving a small amount of funds from several different sources can add up, and I'm sure everyone would accept gradual repayment over a year or two to being outright stiffed. Seems to me this would create a lot of goodwill for both SBR and the industry, and prevent things from deteriorating in the future.

I would actually be willing to deposit half the amount of my BI balance, not withdraw for 3 months, do a 25X rollover on balance + deposit at a reputable book. I mean, sure, I wanna win, sometimes win, but I'm almost as happy when it takes me a long time to lose. So I'm not looking for a quick turnaround here, just let me play some and try so I don't feel like I got 3K stolen from me.

I know there is the spreadsheet that is all over the place, but several accounts are missing from that list, including mine. Perhaps SBR is the only group that actually has the full and accurate list, making them the only ones who can effectively broker a deal.

SBR sticking themselves in the middle can only be for one of two reasons.

1) To cut themselves in on something. We've learned they don't sneeze with out an angle.

2) They want any 'bail out' to be proudly brought to the player's rescue by the good folks at SBR.

They are hoping this will blow over like other previous similar schemes we've seen, but I don't think it will. Too many people got robbed for too large of amounts. If you've proven to be a winning player, nobody wants you in terms of a high rollover deposit/bailout combo; and why would they? That's the ugly truth, that i accepted weeks ago.

Books die on everyone, but if you think the top rated books at ATB, BTB, covers, or EOG are better than the ones here you need to get outside more.
