We are warning all of our players, that BetIslands Sportsbook is no longer solvent. Player are estimated to loss balances, in the amount of 1.5 million dollars.

SBR REPORTED - Betislands Is Officially Done
We finally talked with everyone involved. Unfortunately this looks like it is about to end badly for players. This came to be because BI lost it's financial backer and the people left could not make it .READ MORE

It's from ***** guys, Apex Sportsbook before that. We have written them to see if they wanted to do something legitimate for all victims. It's a good chance for a book to flex some muscle players might not have known they had and test their platform... and of course good will toward the industry they are in.

very good to hear you opened a dialogue with them again..sometimes the past tensions from both sides have to be swept aside..this group is doing lots right in 2012 compared to the garbage many others have been up to..

Received the same email. My question is how did this outfit even know my name and contact information? My dealings with the offshore world of sports betting is finished. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Nice. That guy is a real piece of work. I wonder if he provided all names, addresses and wagering history to U.S. law enforcement and tax agencies. Both have a significant presence in Costa Rica. What a train wreck this has turned into. Thanks SBR.

I didn't think of this until now with all that is going on with BI. I thought nothing of it but now it seems fishy. I came across a job posting and beginning of december the posts started. International sportsbook seeking telemarketers with gaming experience wanted. It is for somewhere in costa rica or panama and add says must have passport and company pays flight to and from wherever, housing and meals. If you put 1-888-262-1659 in google you will see the job posting in almost every state. Maybe it has something to do with this?
