I see two new threads with posters complaining about Heritage and 5Dimes payout delays. And, I just called Horizon to get a status update on a check due to arrive today. The csr informed me that they have also had some delays.

I'm sorry, I can't focus on your post because I'm reading the 112312 posts dedicated to BetIslands being delayed a few days on payouts. I look forward to a similar overreaction in this thread to Heritage and 5Dimes being a little delayed. Then I'm looking forward to some immature posters hijacking the thread and calling each other losers, and then I'm looking forward to one guy posting over and over again that Heritage and 5Dimes are the best, they would never stiff anyone, and that anyone who posts telling us how bad they are is a liar. Better yet, maybe I should just stay off of SBR until next week.

You forgot the part about how each of the books will be closed down in xx number of days. You'd think people would learn after the soap opera that went on here with 5Dimes about 6 months ago. Guys swearing up and down they were closing for good and they'd never see their money again yet a few weeks later guys were back to calling them the best US book around. Then BOL was closing. Then Heritage. Now BI. And it seems Horizon is having issues too now. Not sure how people still aren't understanding the concept of processor problems. Instead of accusing every CS Rep of deliberately lying to them you'd think people would finally step back after the 30th time a different book has gone through this over the years and think about the fact that those reps are just relaying info they're being told themselves. Books bust their asses to correct these issues as quickly as possible but sometimes the day they hope to have things resolved just can't pan out. Not like they want to deal with a bunch of people going hysterical because they were gambling with cash they shouldn't have been in the first place and/or don't understand the issues facing US facing books. Instead of coming up with silly conspiracy theories on here, guys should be writing their local politicians to ask for the dumbass laws to be changed so they don't have to deal with this crap any more.

What are you talking about? The thread about Heritage was concerning DEPOSITING problems....that nobody else has had a problem with except one guy.....

Doesn't take much to get people going on here....Every day is the end of the world if you listen to some people on here..

It's all bullshit. If a book can find a way for you to deposit money, then they sure as hell can find a way to pay you.

I am not chicken little crying that the sky is falling. I am only trying to point out that processing problems are universal, not limited to BI. You do understand the concept of "reality check", don't you?

You know.... IT IS DECEMBER...and all methods requiring express service may or may not experience a few unexpected delays that involve checks and or moneyorders this time of year. Heritage, 5Dimes and HorizonSports are absolutely known for paying their sports customers... period. These three brands have pedigrees that go back to Pinnacle and always pay. This is just more nonesense on the SI forum, tiresome...

Hey, I'm sorry fellas. I seem to be misunderstood here --- perhaps I could have made my point better. I am a long-time customer and loyal supporter of 5dimes, and former customer of Heritage with nothing but praise for either. I only meant to point out that processing issues hit every book --- even A+ books. My post was merely an attempt to show how crazy all the BetIsland threads are. Sorry, I guess understating isn't my strong point.

Majority of the time is a particular bank gets suspicious of the account and either places a hold on it or closes it all together. Other times the processor gets wind that the bank is reviewing transactions so the processor pulls the funds out before the bank account gets frozen. There are not many check processors left for US clients anymore and most books use the same one. The processor then has several bank accounts at different banks to distribute the checks to stay below radar. If said processor has book A, B and C sending them withdrawal request and A and C are low volumes they will put those through the same acct. Book B always sends high volumes so they would be set to their own acct. Why it takes long to get your funds when a check bounces is because the book is not willing to send funds to the processor to issue a new check. They already sent the money to them for the 1st check. Essentially would be like the book double paid. It is up to the processor to work with the bank to get the funds back.

This is why you will see more the one book bounce checks at same time. Never a money issue as processors won't issue the check until they received the wire from the book. You might get notified by the book that your withdrawal has been sent but that really just means they sent it over to the processor. It will stay pending with processor till they have the money then they will make the check. So pretty much it is only a few days that something can happen with a bank acct and funds need to be pulled or acct is frozen. Basically its within the time that the batch of checks are made till you receive it in the mail as I presume you cash it as soon as its received.

Processor problem = Cash problems. Pure and simple.

Brooklyn everyone is open to their opinion but processor problems do not always mean cash problems. There is much more to it and I am sure the books wish they can pay you as fast as they take your deposit but unfortunately it is not possible due to the wonderful laws of the US gov. Every other country there are rarely processing issues so if it was a cash problem the forums would be full of complaints worldwide and not just a specific demographic

Not pure, and nothing is ever simple ( cept for you if you believe that ). Every book, even A rated ones, have processor problems from time to time if they deal with the United States ever since the UEIGA was enacted about 5 or 6 years ago.
