Their M.O. is occasional thefts of 5-figure balances. It's probably best to cash out as soon exceed $5K. Not much to worry about other than getting slow paid when dealing with smaller balances.

To be fair, Sportsbook.com has resolved every complaint I have handled since the notorious CP muggings of many players (in 2009?). Once a year, I raise those CP issues.

I think it has been three years with no real issues (other than the older stuff, which is obviously very real). If they resolved this older crap, they could easily be rated much, much higher than they are now.

Exactly how much is "much, much higher? They might settle complaints that reach you, or perhaps SBR in general but they have not stopped attempting to jack balances. Even the one in May reported here with the blackjack card counter and accusing him of violating a rule they added just to attempt to rob him. Caught red handed and they pay.

I had an issue in Feb 2011 with one of my partners. He got nowhere on his own. He was told no further communication would be sent. We know guys there that got it straight but had we been average joe we'd have to come find SBR. Maybe we find (insert some other site) instead and they side with the book? There's a lot of other things lingering with these guys too more recent, plus the old thefts, plus often takes a couple months to get paid.

It's great if they're settling disputes when they reach you but unless they have a big link on their website if we rob you contact Justin7, would be danger if going much, much higher with rating imo.

i bet big on steelers -6 and yankee's ML, the balance will not be great if one does not win. However as people posted here I think slow pay is about the only thing to worry about unless the balance got like 5 figures.

Pretty sure we're all talking sportsbook.ag. The card counting one I haven't seen much discussion on the net, only what SBR reported. The story reported here was the player was locked out of his account that had a $35,000 balance on March 14, 2012 and filed a dispute the same day. The manager said the player counted cards which was against their rules. On March 23 reviewing the facts the rule was there. However Google cache from March 18 showed the rule was not there. They added it after the fact in defending a $35,000 confiscation.

They reversed decision and paid. So what if this player found site XYZ instead of SBR, would it have turned out the same? What used to be one of the largest forums for years made the mistake of: "our players never have a problem" / "we resolve all complaints for our players" etc. Another watchdog with no forum once said "Ratings cannot simply reflect one sites experience they have to include all feedback." All ratings are opinions regardless, just felt on an open forum questioning how much is much, much higher is a fair enough question because personal opinion is this could put some percentage of players in harms way.

Well that sucks. But to answer your original question i received a free payout from them like 2 weeks ago. I also can't speak for everyone except what i know about them from what i have dealt with them, they were 1 of my 1st books along with bodog like 8 years ago and i have always been paid by them over the years no problems somewhere around the mid 5fig mark, but i have read stories negative stories about them along with positive stories like myself. I have never tried to cheat them or bend any rules or multi account. Hope this helps.

Becuase I am ok with 6-8 weeks when i deposit there, I was simply inquiring about any recent non payment complaints which justin7 confirmed there is none.

I meant to add in the payout took 3 days to get and i have read that people r receiving payouts in under 2weeks now, and not the 6-8 weeks that r stated on the site.

I wouldn't keep a dollar with them. last year during football season i worked my balance up to 13K and asked for a withdrawl of around 8000. They took 14 weeks to pay me, and called me probably 5 times begging me to cancel my payout and offering me a bonus. I finally got paid after waiting forever, but will never play with them again. This year they contacted me offering a $100 freeplay, which I gladly let expire. Their software shits on 5 dimes but who wants to wait 12 weeks to get paid

Streaky... I remember something bout that. They were calling players with pending withdrawals and offering freeplays if they canceled or postponed them, right...

i cant keep track of which sportsbook is which, i know one is us facing and one is european facing, but one thing that books in their family have tried to do a bunch of times is say, we are leaving your jurisdiction and cashing out your balance and refunding your futures. yet they always seem to do this while some major sport is in the playoffs so they can collect on the losers and void the possible winners.
