To say BVB needed that would be an understatement. Good to see them back on track.

what's up with this weekend having no games? I hate it when all the leagues are off for the entire weekend.

good to know. I didn't feel like looking it up, but I figured it had something to do with that. I see cup matches in J league about to kick off in a few hrs. I am looking at parlaying the overs in 3 of them. Cup games can get out of control sometimes... what do ya think?

Not right now, no terrific games. Only sparingly follow Championnat National and don't really know historically how Copa del Rey shakes down. I like Nîmes, Martigues, Grand Rouen, and Vannes all to win. And the overs maybe in Cherbourg/Niort, Nîmes/Orléans, and Paris FC/Épinal. Don't know if I'll play any of those, obviously
In the NHL, I like the Phi/Van under a lot. May wait for alternate lines.

Well I would've been 1-3 on winners and 2-1 on overs. Hopefully today fares better with actual action.
Some interesting Swedish plays with Malmö and Häcken fighting for top position for continentals and Värnamo and Hammarby playing to avoid danger of further relegation. I'd normally give this Allsvenskan match to Malmö, but with both teams coming in so strong and well off, I like the draw here for the low risk of 2x. Värnamo and Hammarby are two squads that see a lot of goals. 3 of the last 4 home Värnamo matches would hit the over, and the last three Hammarby road matches would hit the over, so I like my chances here with a high stakes game. First goal should mean both teams press.
Over in Finland there are some interesting plays. In Vaasa, Mariehamn is a low low scoring team on the road, and VPS is a low scoring team, period. I highly expect that trend to continue here. Even though HJK Helsinki is playing a very good JJK squad, I like them to continue their winning ways and play spoiler to JJK's continental hopes just because they can. Obviously earlier in the season, that would be a much bigger play. Haka has an outside, outside shot at continentals and I expect them to gun for it and take their liberties with a lowly Rouvaniemi squad.
Ugh, even with the break, the cold streak continues! Häcken couldn't get it done on the road. Värnamo and Hammarby somehow ended up low scoring. But the Finnish plays were the most shocking. HJK has already become complacent. Haka got an early red card and lost to lowly RoPS. Leaving my only hit as VPS/Mariehamn.
This is a battle of two teams trying to prove they're back in form and are actually quite evenly matched on the pitch. I like a 1-1 draw in this match, if I had to play a score. In the past nine years, BVB has only won once in Bremen, so I like the Bremen PK or Bremen +0.5. Historically, 62.5% of their matches are under 2.5. And if you look at the last four years, the u3 would be 5-2-1. So I like Bremen and BVB to perform up to their historical standards, as both are coming in thirsting for points and relatively healthy.

Yeah, hopefully they play solid defense around Mielitz and they should. Just have to hope it doesn't turn into the Pizarro/Lewandowski show. When do you think Barrios is coming back? Has to be next week.

At least the under is looking good. BVB is looking good. Would be interesting to see Barrios after that long layoff.

dont worry. bremen plays quite well. and after all bremen were this season like four times behind with 0-1 and still won the game.
perisic also got his second yellow, so we might get at least a draw here.

Boo, 10 on 11 goal for BVB. Both games last year were 2-0, so hopefully it just stops here. I think Werder pushes though a man up. Can't believe they let that one in.

dortmund got much more efficient today. bremen is clearly better, but clueless how to get past bvb defense. 0-2 or 1-2 mitght be final. no way bremen can still draw.

No worries, all in good fun. Good win for BVB, starting to think they're back. Should be fun with them rising back up the standing, and hopefully Barrios gets the start next week.
Fun game, good for BVB to get the win. Shocked at how Bremen couldn't get anything going even when up a man.

Ehh, 2.Bundesliga aren't the best tomorrow. I do really like Union Berlin to win that one. They won 3-1 at home last year and they're in much, much better form than Karlsruhe, plus are on a 4 game home winning streak. Duisburg and Ingolstadt are a couple of low tier teams. Duisburg won the match in Duisburg 4-1 last year, so there's that. Ingolstadt is a great over team, but Duisburg is a middle of the road team. If I had to pick every game, I'd go Union Berlin + over and Duisburg + over. Union Berlin will likely be my only play, though.

Should be a solid play to get back on track. Union's been awesome at home and I expect that to continue against one of the worse road teams.

but as I read, unıon has lots of absence, is it true ? ty by the way
Bayern has been trouncing opponents all year and are playing they're old practise keeper, Kraft. I fully expect another embarrassment for a Bayern opponent tomorrow despite facing old teammates Ottl, Lell, and Kraft. Bayern will only be missing Rafinha (okay, and Robben, too, but when isn't he out) and Boateng at wingback and van Buyten starting is still as good as any. I sincerely doubt Neuer's shotout streak is threatened whatsoever. Maybe 2-0. 3-0, 4-0 Bayern.
The Gladbach/Bayer match is tough to cap, but when you consider Bayer hasn't lost in 19 matches (14 draws) in Borussia Park, you have to think you go with Bayer. However, with how well Borussia is playing this year, and that Bayer has been up and down, I like Gladbach to finally get that win at home. Coming into it, you'd like the under, but last year the road team won 1-3 at Borussia, and 3-6 at Leverkusen.
Nürnberg and Wolfsberg is a mid-tier Bundesliga match, and those typically mean goals. Big thing that keeps me from going higher is Nürnberg's ho-hum road scoring prowess this year. But 60% of the last 10 between the two have been over, 3/4 in the last two years, and 3/4 home Wolfsberg matches this year. Throw in both teams like this to be a winable match, and Hleb and Thoelke maybing debuting for the Wolves and Nürnberg welcoming back Bunjaku and Eigler, this could be an awkward match that gets out of hand with goals. Could see this as a draw as well.
I don't believe in Schalke just yet, but I do believe in them against a lowly Lautern squad. Schalke is kind of piecemealing their lineup together, but whomever they throw out there should be enough to get the win against lowly Lautern. I would see this as a solid Schalke win, maybe 2-0 or 3-1. But Lautern plays a tight defensive road game, so at worst, it's one goal win and a push.
Normally I'd take Mainz 05 against lowly Augsburg, but the Bavarians are so hungry for the win, so I just hold off on this one. I hold off on Hoffenheim and VfB, which is historically a tough one to call, I do like VfB in Stuttgart, but not enough to play it, same with the under.

Not any more than most teams. Kind of worry about Trapp at central defender, but otherwise, they're pretty well with their starters. Mosquera should get the goals and Sevran should play decent as a fill-in. Karlsruhe is arguably healthier, but they're also simply not good and will not be starting their leading scorer, Iashvili. It's a matter of opinion, but I would say Union wins this soundly.
