I expect a cagey match between 2 sides that are going to find it rough this season. Almeria has had its past 4 games go under & Vallecano have 4 of their past 5 go under the total. Fair price here is 1.80/-125.

2. Sevilla ML @ 1.98/-102 (1u) Unibet

Sevilla have owned Valencia recently. Valencia are winless in their past 8 head to head losing 5 drawing 3 versus Sevilla. Taking this line early as well as I had it pegged at 1.80/-125 on the money line.

3. Real Sociedad -1 @ 2.16/+116 (1u) Pinnacle
Taking the home side with a great home record last season only losing 3 games, versus a very poor away side in Girona who only managed 3 away wins all season.
4. Real Madrid ML @ 2.22/+122 (1u) Pinnacle
What am I missing with this line here? The last 4 times Madrid went to San Mames they won all 4. The talent gap between these sides is immense. Anything at plus money is an auto play.

5. Cadiz ML @ 2.31/+131 (1u) Pinnacle

Backing a home side versus a newly promoted side on the road for the first time is one of my auto plays. The last time Cadiz played Alaves away from home they won 1-0. Cadiz at home should should be priced at evens versus a weaker side, so anything at plus money is value in my books.

6. Atletico Madrid -1.5 @ 1.99/-101 (1u) Bet365
Coming into Monday there has yet to be a home winner in Spain in the opening weekend. I'm hoping that changes today with yet another promoted side on the road in Madrid. Atletico side are more then 1o times better then Granada, they win by 2 or more at 1.80/-125.

Bilbao have only won 2 of their past 16 games both home and away. Osasuna have won 7 of their past 10 games. The last 2 times Bilbao played in Osasuna they lost 1-0 & 2-0. Hoping for these trends to continue.

I'm laying juice because you never know what version of Sevilla shows up. The last time Sevilla played Alaves away they won 1-0. Sevilla are clearly the more superior side and Alaves are being given too much respect for a promoted side.

9. Real Sociedad ML @ 2.04/+104 (SPA) 1u Pinnacle

Sociedad travel to the Canary Islands to face newly promoted side Las Palmas. Real Sociedad finished in 4th spot last season and had a 10-3-6 road record. If they are to finish in Champions League spot again these are the bottom dweller teams that they need to beat. I had the odds here at 1.80/-125.

I'm not sold on Alaves especially on the road, they remain my lowest ranked side in La Liga. The last time these sides met it ended 2-2 however it was 0-0 when Getafe had a man sent off in the 31st minute. Hoping for the home side to take the full 3 points.

12. Atletico Madrid ML @ 2.04/+104 (1U) Pinnacle

Madrid has owned Vallecano in what seems like forever. In the past 14 head to head games they won 11 tied 3 and lost ZERO. Atlletico scored 27 and conceded only 6 goals against. My line here was 1.85/-117.
