Home opener for the French Riviera side that are always tough to beat at home. Nice did the double over Lille last season winning 1-0 at home and 2-1 away. No reason to think they can at least get a point at home.

I'm continuing to fade Metz here as I did last week. The line here opened at -150 in fovour of Marseille and drifted I guess because they crashed out of the Champions league midweek. I'm not buying the overreaction and think the line should be set where it opened.
I waited as long as I could I really wanted this line to touch 1.80/-125 as it seems all the fair weather birds have left Paris. Even without their trio this is the best squad in France. I think the scrubs get a win.
Decent value here on the total as last season Rennes matches veraged 3.21 goals per game and Lens averaged 2.89. Form wise Rennes have had their past 5 go over & Lens their last 2 went over 2.5 goals.
