yes, I know it's risky what im betting but there are opposite examples to, and the stats of the current league show that the teams are having a high appetite for scoring, and they also allow pretty much....Orgryte scored 23 and allowed 15, while Jonkopings scored 21 and allowed 27. I am sure the home team will score at least twice in the game, or maybe thrice.

you know, I bet NBA, and there a lot of situations in which a team is 1-6 ATS in the last 7 against a certain team, and that certain team is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 matches....things are totally different, and I tend to trust more the recent history/.

I know it's tempting to bet on anything even if normaly you wouldn't play this but those shitty leagues are just not worth it.

As I've promised you guys, I will write a massive article about the way I see the romanian Liga I in the 2010/2011 season. I will try to be very precise :

For the 2010/2011 season, this is how the places count :
1st place : participation in UEFA Champions League Groups Stage for the 2011/2012 Season
2nd place : participation in UEFA Champions League second qualifying round for the 2011/2012 Season
3rd and 4th place : participation in UEFA Europa League play-off for the 2011/2012 Season
5th place and Cup Winner : participation in the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League for the 2011/2012 Season
15th to 18th place : relegation in Romania Liga II

Last year, the order was : CFR Cluj, Unirea Urziceni, FC Vaslui, Steaua Bucuresti, Dinamo Bucuresti. The Romanian Cup was won by CFR Cluj. The teams that promoted are : Targu Mures, Universitatea Cluj, Victoria Branesti. International Curtea de Arges had severe financial issues, and was relagated , Pandurii Tg. jiu being the one to take the advantage out of this, as, even if they have finished 15th last season, they will still play in the first league.

In my opinion, 5 teams will be fighting for the title this season :

1. CFR Cluj, the defending champion, winner of 7 trophies in the last 3 years, will have the greatest chance to go back to back. Their squad is stronger than last season, as they didn;t sell any important player. Also, they have transfered some good ones.
Players in : Dominique Kivuvu (free agent), Ionut Rada )free agent), Ioan Hora (Gloria Bistrita), Nuno Diogo (FC Brasov), Sasa Bjelanovic (vicenza), Felice Piccolo (Empoli), Rafael Bastos (free agent).
Players out : Sixto Peralt, Nei (loan).
CFR Cluj has a very competitive squad, formed over the last 3 years, and a great club management. They will have a busy schedule, since they will play strong teams in the Uefa Champions League, this being a possible reason of further problems. CFR has the advantage of being well supported in the area, but not in the other parts of the country. CFR is also said to be in good relationships with the teams near them, FC Brasov and Gloria Bistrita (the fact is that in the last 2 season, CFR has always defeated them). Also, another important fact is that CFR Cluj had more favourable wrong decisions from the referees than against them ( the 'score' was around 10-2). Good team, good management, good relationships with other teams and with the referees, 4 reason to see the title in Cluj next season.

2. Steaua Bucuresti, the team with the most titles in Romania, is a totally new team comparing to last seasons, when they only went 5th and 4th in the Liga I. Steaua has a new coach, Victor Piturca, who changed everything in the club and around the club. the squad is very mucyh changed, around 13 players being transfered at the club, and a similar number leaving it. The fans didn;t support the club last season, because of their 'war' against the chairman, but will do it this season. One of Steaua's glories, Emeric Ienei, is now the club's president.Steaua went 6-0 in friendlies this summer, impressing by the way they played, espcially in the victory over Olympiakos.
Players in : Yordan Todorov (free agent), Mihai Radut (Curtea de Arges), Dorel Stoica (free agent), Alexandru Pacurar (Pandurii Tg. Jiu), Razvan Stanca (Pandurii Tg. Jiu), Octavian Abrudan (FC Brasov), Florin Gardos (Concordia Chiajna), Geraldo Alves (AEK Athens), Novak Martinovic (Pandurii Tg. Jiu), Stanislav Angelov (free agent), Cosmin Matei (Farul Constanta), Iasmin Latovlevic (FC Timisoara)
Players out : Jivko Jelev, Pawel Golanski, Pepe Moreno, Juan Carlos Toja (Aris Thessaloniki), Mihaita Plesan ( AC Arles-Avignon),Ovidiu Petre (Al Nasr Riad), Mihai Onicas (Targu Mures), Artiom and Arman Karamian.

Steaua , with the fans by their side is almost impossible to defeat at home. Here, Steaua has achieved incredibile results over the years : 2-0 with Valencia, 1-0 with Middlesbrough, 0-0 with Villareal, 1-0 with Galatasaray and so on. So, the fact that they will have the crowds next to them is amazingly important. Steaua has a young team, and that may result into a prime title candidate next year, but they have their chances too this season.

3. FC Rapid Bucuresti is a very old club from romania, but which hasn't won anything in years. This season, they look very strong, as the championship starts in a few days. Rapid has a new coach, Marius Sumudica, a young one, who has saved Gloria Bistrita from relegation last season, and a former great player from Rapid. He has brought important players too, and will have the support of Rapid's fans. Rapid has also a new president, one of the best from the league, Dinu Gheorghe.
Players in : Rui Duarte (FC Brasov), Marcos Antonio (free agent), Ezequias Roosevel (FC Brasov), Cassio Vargas Barbosa (uniao Leiria), Nicolae Grigore (Nicolae Grigore), Sabrin Sburlea (FC Brasov).
Players out : Adrian Iencsi, Ştefan Grigorie, Helder
Rapid is much stronger than the previous season, and might have a chance to win the title.

4. Unirea Urziceni won the title one year ago, and became a well knpwn team in Europe, after defeating Rangers, away, with a stunning 4-1. they have also won against Sevilla, and made 8 points in the group G of UEFA Champions League last season. Mainly, they have the same squad as last year, with some additions, all good players. They have the disadvantage of having no fans outside Urziceni, since they are a very small team, from a very small city.
Players in : Adrian Neaga (free agent), Petre Marin (steaua bucuresti,), Junior Dale(FC Arles)
Players out : no player was yet sold

5. FC Vaslui is a very new team, founded less than 10 years ago. After promoting in the first league, and survived the first season without relegating, the team started to become a strong force of the championship. Two years ago, they caught the 5th place, last year they went 4rd, normally, they should win the title if we apply this rule. They have a vast support in the area, and one of the best chairman in theleague. Also, FC Vaslui has a new coach, Lopez Caro, an experienced Spanish coach, who worked for Real Madrid.
Players in : David Rivas, Alejandro Campano, Daniel Pancu, Vytautas Cerniauskas, Cosmin Vatca, Sorin Radoi, Rodolfo Bodipo.
Players out : Alfonso Delgado, Dinu Sânmărtean.
FC Vaslui can win the title if they will not lose points against smaller teams.

Two teams that will also try to enter the title race, FC Timisoara and Dinamo Bucharest, have nochance to win it, in my opinion, as they have lost important players and didnlt bring the players that the managers requested.

) Mihaita is not a very common name...is a form of Mihai (Michael), and it means "little Mihai". and my family name starts with Z :P

Golanski is a free agent, for now. He had 3 good years here, one of the best right defenders we have had recently

I am watching Dinamo vs olimpia Balti....verry funny match
Dinamo leads 3-0 at HT, but they ahve a terrible defense, I donlt see them well in the first match against Astra Ploiesti, I might play Astra +1.

Oh, and since I am asuperstitious person, I didnl't post the games I wrote today (i do that after cold streaks, ) and I regret not doing it. Very likely to go 2-0 tonight, but the matches were flips of coin for me, honestly.

I am from here, and I know how Rapid plays at home.....last year, the match ended 3-2, two years ago 2-2, and 3 years ago 2-1....
Rapid is very strong, but Vaslui is a force aswell, they will surely score, but Rapid should win here...

the stats from last season : Rapid at home (17 matches) : 35 goals scored 20 goals allowed.
