    back and lay
    I would appreciate a bit of help if poss with back and lay as i have not done it before.If i back the draw in a soccer match at 3.80 for £100 pounds and the lay is available at 3.70 how much do i put on it.

    If my calculations are correct, $95 would give you odds of approx $5.70.

    Alternatively you could play for the risk free profit and just lay $100.

    I think that's correct.

        well mansion are supposed to be 0% comission so i would use them.So a couple of examples of prices and how much to put on would be appreciated.

          If you're buying at Mansion then it's free, unless it has recently changed. If you look on the internet (or quite possibly here) then there should be a spreadsheet/website/program which will calculate exactly what you're looking for.

          If you can't find anything then PM me and I'll send you a program I've got. It's an .exe file (which is blocked my a lot of email clients - although there are no viruses here) but it will calculate exactly what you need (and even take into account any commissions as applicable).

            And using the program - if you bet 100 at 3.80, you should lay 102.70 at 3.70 to attain a profit of 2.70 assuming 0% commission.
