Play #182: [Copa Sudamericana] Universidad de Chile vs. Fluminense OVER 2.5 (-115) First leg ended up 2-2. Chile has scored in each of their 5 Copa matches. Fluminense has scored & yielded goals in four straight Copa matches after a scoreless debut. Chile has conceded a goal in 8 of their last 9 home matches in all competitions. Fluminense has seen totals of 3 or better in 6 straight. They have scored 13 goals in that stretch. Being the 2nd leg in a Cup atmosphere, don't go overboard wagering this one if you choose to make it. I think it's got a solid shot at getting over, but if Chile decides just to play D and try to protect their away goals, it could be stale. Hoping Fluminense pushes the issue and either scores or leaves themselves vulnerable on defense.

Great work Eagles
I like this play, if Fred plays Chile's defense will have a real tough time holding out, he's on fire!

Started late. Fluminense has already blown two great scoring chances. At least it's up tempo, but goals need to start being found.

Play #183: [Ireland Eircom Premier] Bray Wanderers vs. Bohemians OVER 2.5 (-113) These two squads have played twice this Premier League season to totals of at least 3 goals. Bray has yieded 16 goal in their last 7 matches overall. At home in league matches, they have given up multiple goals in 6 of their last 9. They have scored at least on goal in 7 of 9 at home. Bohemians continue to score relentlessly, tallying 14 goals in their last 5. They have scored multiple road goals in 3 of their last 5 away from home. This is the coronation party for Bohemians, needing just a point to wrap up the league championship. I expect they'll do more than that. I believe Bray was also relegated as a result of their result last time out, so they might either be pissed and play well or roll over and take a nice thumping (3-0 or better) from the back-to-back champs.

I was projecting, it was 38th minute when I posted I think, now injury time. Scoreless. No way this is gonna get done either because Shamrock is losing to St.Patrick's which means Bohemians probably won't even need a point to win the title. They are up 3 points on Shamrock. They might get one in the 2nd half, but it's probably gonna be 1-0 or 0-0 unless someone falls asleep on one team or the other ... we can only hope!

Worth a shot. Bahia has played ten straight at home to three goal or better on the total. 3-2 score the first time these two met.

Play #184: [Spain La Liga] Barcelona vs. Mallorca UNDER 3.5 (-125) Barca has a couple clean sheets & has allowed 3 goals in their other two home matches this season. As they have been in all competitions, schizophrenic would best describe this bunch. They scored 15 home goals in their 4 La Liga matches, conceding 3. If you include all their competitions, their last nine matches have seen just one total hit at four goals or better. Mallorca has been consistent on the road, scoring one goal in four of their five road tilts - including Cup play. They have yielded 10 goals in that same span. Only one of their five road matches have hit for 4 goals or more. With an uneven Barca offense & the possibility of resting some regulars after their Champions League match on Wednesday, I do not see this as a chance for a breakout match against a decent Mallorca squad. Barca will get on the scoresheet as Mallorca hasn't kept a clean one on the road, but I expect Barca's D to limit Mallorca to one or none.
Play #185: [English Premier] Wolverhampton vs. Arsenal OVER 3 (-109) The Wolves have yet to face any of the big boys in the Premier League, so this will be a new test. Their home matches to-date are averaging just 2 goals per match, with the Wolves scoring less than one per match and conceding just a bit over one per match. Wolverhampton's offense has been pretty steady lately, scoring at least once in four of the last five matches. They have also conceded in 9 straight league matches. Arsenal meanwhile continues to put the pressure on their opponents with 21 goals in their last 7 competitive matches. 9 of their 10 EPL matches have hit at least three goals. Their road matches average 4.2 goals. Will be a bit aggressive on this one instead of paying more for the split 2.5/3 line (-134) as I think Arsenal is capable of scoring 3 by themselves or more and the Wolves may sneak one in once this gets out of hand.

Yeah saw that Invincible. That's a toughie. LINZ may have gotten back to their goal attracting ways last time, but Rapid Wien hasn't been on fire lately .... if the total was a flat 3, I'd dive in. It's 3/3.5 at my shop right now. Will be studying that one today pretty hard.
GL with the NFL contest kmarino, I'm trying to stay out of the NFL/NCAAF sections because that type of football has kicked my ass at this point. I'm trying to stay more focused on soccer on the weekends ... allowing myself a college or pro football bet or three if I do well on soccer. Otherwise, I couldn't pick a winner to save my life it seems.

Play #186: [MLS] New England +0.5 (+114) Revs head to Chicago with a 2-1 aggregate lead after hitting for the home win in the 1st leg. The Fire have won just 2 of their last 6 home matches and won just 5 times at home all season. The Revs finished the regular season unbeaten in their last four road starts, never conceding more than one goal. Chicago traditionally has not been kind to New England, however did work a draw in their last trip in May and a draw will see them through tonight. I think New England will look to be tight defensively knowing that a draw is all they need and at worst, a one goal difference would get them into extra time. The Fire were the worst scoring offense at home all season, so the Revs key on not allowing them to get anything started. I think this one could likely end in a draw and if Chicago lapses like they did in the 1st leg on some set pieces, New England could win this outright and leave the sweating until the next round in the MLS playoffs.
