The Stabaek line (+0.5,+1) v Rosenborg looks a little generous. By all accounts these teams are the mirror image of one another. 3rd vs 4th, similar defensive and offensive capabilities, home and away records etc. Injuries perhaps? Can't figure it out, almost to generous... hmmm. I won't be playing it, i'm still smarting over the weekend, but will keep an eye on it.

What does +0.5 or +1 mean?
I mean I know what it means but how can a book charge same price for +0.5 than +1
My book doesnt do that.
Please explain

Howdy Bulldog,
It's basically just a version of the handicap market, whereby you get both a half goal AND a whole goal start. Sometimes you might see it displayed as +0.75. You have to split your wager in half too though, so that you have say $50 with +0.5 and $50 with +1. Using my example from last night, half of my wager lost (+0.5) and half (+1) pushed. In the end i didn't lose all my wager even though they lost the game. If i had been on at only +0.5 i would have lost it all. It's just another handicap variation offered by the books.
