Why do some posters start a thread about phone calls?

Why don't they PM to the person they need to call them or pick up the phone and call them without cluttering the forum with useless threads? And why doesn't the thread get moved to the private zone since it involves two individuals own business?

Because it's somewhat of a status symbol to speak on the phone with jj, plus they're all like 20 years old and this is a very cool ordeal for them.

Agree with all.....It's more or less like "Look how cool and connected I am. I'm takin' phonecalls and I'll show the others what a bigshot I am...."

It is pretty laughable if you just sit back and think about a thread like that.....
