sad. Epstein and Horshack have recently died. Both did other things but we remember them from Kotter. I used to love that show.

makes me feel old that he was 63! I vaguely remember that show growing up, maybe actually later in reruns as i was too young when it was "original"

the show ran from '75-'79. i was too young to watch it when it was in prime time too, but in early 80's, i started watching it and loved it. everything makes me feel old nowadays.

Yeah brock, i hear you. horshak being 63 does make me feel really old too.. But i don't know if you watched The Brady Brunch growing up, but i did, and when i found out that little tiny girl Cindy Brady turned 51 today, boy did it depress me. man i really feel old now. I can't believe little Cindy Brady is 51 yrs old today. where has the time gone? boy is time flying by.

It wasn't "main stream" to bring up relationships like that when he was at the peak of his career. By the time it was, he was way off the radar.
