25-40 depending on the actuality of the job your're applying for. job competition has to be fierce, but more power if you get that job. mad money.
Im a little concerned on how a public utility company gets away with awarded 40/hr jobs. make them salary at least for 40k or 50k and work them 80 hour weeks. WTF 40 hrs and you need ot and its 60/hr for somewhat skilled labor but it's not brain surgery.Comment -

#40i worked for proctor and gamble, not sure if your talking about that or pacific, but if its proctor and gamble, i worked as economist with a bachelors degree from a top 20 bus school. and if you figured out what my salary was compared to hourly i probably was around half of 28. I seriously doubt that company is paying a non union electrician 28 hr. there would be no need as im sure they are 50 unemployed licscened electricians willing to kill to work for 15/hrComment -

#44I'm a retired officer from the East Coast, and I can honestly say that I wish I never became a police officer. I did my best to do good during my career, but the administration kept bringing me down. I think I only made a dent in the world. I never moved mountains like I dreamed I would when I was a kid.
I had always wanted to be a police officer. I watched all the cop shows and movies, read cop books, and even dreamed about being a police officer when I slept at night. I think I just fell in love with the movie version of a cop, not the real version.
Give it some real thought before you sign the dotted line.Comment -

#46"The crisis cost PG&E and the state somewhere between $40 and $45 billion dollars.[6] There is some evidence that this crisis played an important part in the eventual recall of California Governor Gray Davis.
PG&E Company, the utility, emerged from bankruptcy in April 2004, after paying $10.2 billion to its hundreds of creditors. As part of the reorganization, PG&E's 5.1 million electricity customers will have to pay above-market prices for several years to cancel the debt." wikipedia

#47U have worked in both Texas and New Mexico. In 17 years and three different departments I found that it is all about departmental politics. Everyone says law enforcement is a stress job...It is but all the stress comes from the politics within the department. I have seen more GOOD officers leave a department and the political trash stay. You cannot tell me that this does not take place in departments all over the United States. I have talked with too many officers from other states during my 17 years to believe that. I was always told to "go with the flow" and I would do well in my career. It's hard to go with the "flow" when you see officers committing acts that would get the normal citizen in trouble. Come on guys, let's be real here.Comment -

#52Stucky, the NAB cup has already started although not really paying a whole lot of attention to it. Some good up and comers and expect the new side (greater western sydney) to be the bunny this season. Some good young talent though but will tire half way through season due to lack of endurance imo..good luck palComment -

#61I worked Union for Pepsi for 3 years. No longer working their. Im collecting unemployment and am going to school to finish a Met tech program that will probably take me 18 months to complete. Trying to get in with PGE or SMUD here in Sacramento. Both company's entry level Journeyman electrical groundsman make 28+ a hour. Im not saying i wouldn't work for less thats just what my goal is to get a job with one of these companies.
What did you do while working for Pepsi? What your your job functions? I thought you said you also were playing poker full-time as a profession too no?Comment -

#62I will never understand how anyone can live on 10 dollars an hour. It's insane. I couldn't even afford my rent for my shitty studio with that. If i literally didn't need food to survive, and spent no money, I couldn't even pay rent with 10 dollars an hour.Comment -

#67Farrrk that, my old 2nd "job" was $250 per hour plus perks, minimum wage here is $15 so even if you're cleaning toilets you're raking it more than $10 ph. Hell when I used to work in sales for $26 ph I thought I could be doing much better things with my time.Comment -

#69only reason I ask is b/c years ago I was on the job and I ended up in a situation where I came across a husband and wife that were high... much like a setting you'll be in.
anyways, the husband said to me that he'd pay me 5 grand I let his wife suck my dick and he watched.
they'll never teach you how to handle those situations in any of your classes.Comment -
