Yes, it is chain..........a new store is popping up every 6 days on average.
Look for one near you.

Ate their a couple times. Pulled pork sandwich is pretty good. They just shut down the place by me though. Plus everytime I went for the $1 sandwich they were "sold out of pork"

Dickey's is 1/2 ass at best. No massive chain bbq joint is going to be very good.
Only truly good bbq restaurants are small, usually hole-in-the-wall places.

There is one that just opened up right down the road from me.
I never even heard of Dickey's until I got a flyer with coupons in the mail the other day.
I guess I'll have to try the place out and see if its any good.

Looks like Opie may have a clue here.
I do like the deep fried okra, good stuff. Meat is decent, but Opie's right...hole in the wall joints will bring it.

I go to the one south strip by outlet mall about twice a month when I check my mail box.
Not great but it gets the job done, I usually have buy one get one coupon for me and wife.

Dickey's is WAY too expensive where I live. I don't know if the franchise owner raised the prices, the people working shorted me on meat, or if it's just expensive. Really doesn't matter since we are not short on BBQ joints (local or franchised) here in southern Missouri.

Maybe because it's a chain Dickey's is different from place to place, but in Central FL it's complete shit. Expensive and the bbq is well below average. If you live in an area where Dickey's is considerate good, then I feel sorry for you.

I havent tried it yet. Its got mixed reviews on yelp, some good, some bad, some very bad. I dont think it will be worth the price.
