I've really cut back on how many games I wager. I'm only betting maybe 4 or 5 games a week now.

I used to bet around 25 each week just for the action. That was way too stressful and time consuming.

Yea time consumption was a reason i really gave up on betting. Even when u win its stressful as hell. When i go play cards i have some drinks, get comped meals for free shoot the shit n have fun. Betting on the other hand...

No doubt. It blows my mind browsing through the baseball forum and reading some of the threads.

A lot of these guys are supposedly betting like 5 or 6 games a day. Have fun, boys!

Baseball is a little more difficult but ive had success over 4 years in the nba by simply betting into off numbers. In the NBA you handicapp the point spread(not the game) given public perception.

So you rely mainly on % of bets and the corresponding line movement then?

Im able to recognize shaded lines or off numbers before they even move. Thus ill bet into them at the opener and by the close they'll usually move 1.0-1.5 points in my favor giving me a 12% edge or so.

It seems like you and I agree that most bettors are spending too much time looking into the wrong factors as well as irrelevant and insignificant data.
