I do not think it is a lie. I see a difference from when i was younger to how it is today. Winters are more mild tons more snow back then. I cannot remember the last time i had a white Xmas. When i was younger i remember plenty. Of course that is going back 40+ years ago. Used to enjoy the live manger scene across the street at the church with the snowfall. Felt like Christmas.
