can you even think of anything Biden did in 4 years except allow millions of illegal aliens into the country, allow men to compete against women in sports, fired federal workers for refusing to take an experimental drug, bribed voters with taxpayer money to pay the student loans, and weaponized the justice system against his political opponent? its obviously not a black and white issue. There are several factor that take place regarding tariffs and they differ depending on the country. What works for one country might not work for another. Too many factors involved to make a blanket statement.
I will remind you that several years ago Toyota wanted to build a plant in Mexico and sell their vehicles to the US. America said ok but if you do, we will imposed a 25% tariff on all Toyota cars. Toyota built the plant in the US instead. Trump doesn't want everything to be built in the US either but wants to incentivize domestic production at home. Tariffs do that.
