Being right is not a defense for a treasonous act like actually back stabbing your own security services and boot licking the enemy in public like he did.

Anyway if treason is serious to you your glare should be on both of them imho.

What was in Trump’s birthday letter to Epstein?

Speaker Johnson refuses to allow Epstein vote as House set to recess early

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Mike Johnson is rebuffing pressure to act on the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, instead sending members home early for a month-long break from Washington after the week's legislative agenda was upended by Republican members who are clamoring for a vote.

Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, said Tuesday morning that he wants to give the White House “space” to release the Epstein information on its own, despite the bipartisan push for legislation that would require more records to be released.

“There’s no purpose for the Congress to push an administration to do something they’re already doing,” Johnson said at his weekly press conference, his last before lawmakers depart Washington on Wednesday for their traditional August recess.

Echoing President Donald Trump’s position, Johnson insisted he, too, wants the files released, but only those that are “credible.”

The speaker's stance seemed unlikely to satisfy many GOP members who are threatening to support a bipartisan bill meant to pry information from the Justice Department. Even before Johnson spoke, a Republican-controlled subcommittee of the powerful House Committee on Oversight was advancing a resolution to subpoena Epstein's former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, for a deposition.

The intra-party turmoil on Capitol Hill unfolded as many of Donald Trump's supporters have been outraged at how his administration has reneged on promises to publicly release a full accounting of the sex trafficking investigation into Epstein, who killed himself in his New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial. Under pressure from right-wing online influencers, as well as voters back home, rank-and-file Republicans are demanding that the House intervene in the matter.

“The public's not going to let this die, and rightfully so,” said Rep. Ralph Norman, a South Carolina Republican.

What was in Trump’s birthday letter to Epstein?

According to the WSJ report, Epstein was gifted a leather-bound collection of letters and notes for his 50th birthday in 2003.

This had been compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate and partner, who was later charged as Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice in his sexual abuse operation. She was found guilty in 2021 and is now serving a 20-year prison sentence handed down in 2022.

The letter included typewritten text in the third person. It also featured a drawing of a woman’s breasts and was signed “Donald”. The drawing appeared to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker, the WSJ reported.

The letter ended with: “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Fallon has some talent but he sold his soul to the Left.

FASCISM ALERT: Show That Wasn't Making Money Canceled

NEW YORK CITY — In a stunning example of rampant fascism, a TV network cancelled a show that wasn't making any money and had terrible ratings.

"The Colbert Show spoke truth to power and its cancelation is a chilling example
of the fascism that's growing every day here in the U.S.A.,"
online culture blogger Danielle Swanson wrote this week.

"With Colbert off the air, there will not be one single late-night host left
who will criticize Trump. Fascism has won."

CBS announced this week it was cancelling
The Late Show starring Steven Colbert,
stating it was purely a business decision
due to no one watching the show and its losing $40 million every year.

However, journalists and Democratic politicians argued that the show's
100-million-dollar budget had nothing to do with the cancellation
and place the blame squarely at the feet of the Trump administration.

"My losing the company tens of millions of dollars every year
    is textbook fascism," said Colbert.
"That dastardly Trump has done it again!"

At publishing time, CBS had informed Colbert he could still cry
and screech for 90 minutes every night, he just would no longer
be on camera or get paid.

Hunter Biden blamed the sleeping pill Ambien for then-President Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump last year.

The younger Biden made the remarks in an expletive-laden interview on YouTube's "Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan" that was released Monday, the one year anniversary of his father's decision to drop out of the presidential race
