America had earned all the respect it needed before this clown show started about 10 years ago. That's why Trump was able to backstab and influence allies so easily. Due to the trust America had built up.
Don't kid yourself that 75% of that trust is gone, probably for the rest of our lifetimes. I'd opine that every major US ally has publicly stated that we have no choice but find ways to be less reliant on the USA. Australia for example knows America will be back cap in hand desperate to get access to raw materials and build bases and send even more spooks here.
