It sounds like the records have been manipulated so much that many of the real key baddies are not mentioned in DOJ records anyway though.

For instance there was a civil case against Epstein brought by a 15 year old girl alleging a powerful figure took her to Epstein Island. Apparently that person applied to the court to have her account of that suppressed to "protect the victim", and in a very weird ruling the judge agreed to that. Which meant his name never went to the DOJ when that case file was handed over.

I'd guess a lot of moves like that have been made over the years to sanitize the DOJ records.
