Mexico and Canada can get the tariffs removed if they start doing something for us rather than just taking. Keep in mind, we defend Canada with our military as well.

I'm interested to see how this all shakes out but my guess is that sooner than later both will make good. Trump seems to think that we do not need anything from either of them?

I was referring to the countries given tariffs.

You(Australia) are one of the few countries that we do not have a deficit with.

Why have partnerships if they are one way streets? This is his way of forcing the issue on them as asking nicely to not let illegals into our country did not work. It is not the first option though. How long have both been letting illegals flood into our country? Like it or not, this is his way of bringing people to the table to negotiate.
