Fire Survivors Drive Back Toward Flames After Hearing Kamala Speak

LOS ANGELES, CA — After briefly listening to former Vice President Kamala Harris speak, survivors of the Los Angeles fires hopped back in their cars and drove directly into the flames.

Harris flew directly to California after leaving office to speak to those forced to flee their homes, but her cackling quickly sent residents fleeing back into the fiery cauldron.

"Give me the fire any day," said local man Daniel Miller, after thirty seconds of listening to Harris. "I've got a full tank of gas and I'm heading straight back to the heart of the blaze. Adios."

According to witnesses, Harris immediately broke out into her signature laughter as she began to address the devastating tragedy. After several attempts to begin speaking were broken up by giggling, Harris did manage to explain how she could empathize with people losing their homes to a fire because she had grown up in a middle-class family. Harris then proceeded to discuss her plan to run for governor of California, sending the remaining residents retreating back to the fires.

At publishing time, the fire itself had begun to flee to the ocean after hearing the approach of Harris.

Before they started Tesla, Eberhard and Tarpenning had earned money from the sale of the Rocket eBook, a 1990s-era e-reader, but they still needed more money to bring the Tesla vision to fruition, according to Forbes. “People somehow have the idea that I was a zillionaire when I started Tesla,” Eberhard told the magazine. “I was not.” And so the two men got seed capital from Musk, who had racked up a sizable net worth by that point as a co-founder of PayPal.

khicks saw the entire video showing Musk was referring to his heart goes out to the people, but he decided to be a little CNN fake news bitch, once again, and because he has little to no integrity, he decided to do what he always does, he pushes the lie. The false narrative. Whatever you wanna call it.

It's almost a certainty that khicks is an actual Nazi himself. All the signs are there. He constantly talks about him and posted hundred of posts showing the Nazi symbol. Would anyone really be surprised if he's got some kind of secret lock box full of all sorts of Nazi shit which no one else knows about? Or that he built a secret room behind a false wall where he periodically crawls into, like a rat, which is filled with all sorts of Nazi flags and stuff, where he can spend some alone time with his heroes. By constantly pretending others are Nazis, he repeatedly uses this self-deflection technique to deflect away from his own racism and admiration of Hitler and the Third Reich. He's made it perfectly clear over the years that he despises Jews.

The worst he feels about himself, the harder he has to accuse others of what he actually is. When Musk thanks the crowd, khicks starts to perspire, his heart-rate increases and the shame of what he has become intensifies. He can't burn those Marlboro reds fast enough. Attacking others provides him some temporary relief from the shame he lives with each and everyday. Like an alcoholic who hides booze all over the house thinking no one else will know. He's in denial. Committed to deception. He thinks he's clever but we know he is not.

LMAO, this is funny shit dude. Really out did your Nazi self.

Unamazing, have I ever called you a Nazi? No because you don't do Nazi shit. Dwight is the only one because he does Nazi shit. Hell, there is a Nazi that posts on here and I don't call him a Nazi because he admits it.

Dwight calling me a Nazi is funny because I know it's not true. You call him a Nazi and he gets upset, as you can see by this lengthy diatribe.

He gets upset because it's true.

Elon Musk voted for Biden in 2020, before that he voted for Crooked Hillary, Obama twice and I doubt he voted for W. I don't know.

Since he supported Trump in the last year or 2, all of a sudden the Left cannot say anything nice about the man. He's apparently a Nazi now.

America has gotten to an absurd moment in time where people are afraid to tell it like it is.

Too bad my dad didn't own an emerald mine in South Africa and pay people a dollar a day to work in it.

Too bad the US government didn't give me billions of dollars to produce cars that randomly start on fire.

Federal judge rejects “blatantly unconstitutional” executive edict

On Tuesday, just hours after promising to uphold the United States Constitution, President Trump launched an attack seeking to undermine it. Among the slew of his day-one anti-immigrant decrees was an effort to rewrite the Constitution’s 14th Amendment. The amendment, which guarantees the citizenship of all children born in the United States, was ratified in 1868. It was reaffirmed by a Supreme Court decision in 1898, which expressly confirmed that children born here to immigrant parents were entitled to U.S. citizenship. Trump’s policy disregards legal precedents and could create stateless individuals or deport U.S. born-children alongside their families, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

This attack is just one of seemingly countless acts—from major decrees on immigration raids aimed at terrorizing Black and Brown communities to ending asylum programs to the petty deletion of the Spanish language version of the White House’s website. A particularly troubling consequence of these rollbacks is the erosion of language accessibility. This was not just an administrative decision; it was a clear marginalization of Spanish-speaking populations. Without access to critical information in their preferred language, many Latinos are left uninformed and disconnected from vital government resources. The worst part is that these acts are not meant to solve our immigration policy problems, they are simply red meat for an electorate that has been fed lies and disinformation for far too long.

However, this morning, Federal District Court Judge John C. Coughenour issued a ruling to temporarily block President Trump’s unlawful executive decree attempting to end automatic citizenship for anybody born on American soil.

The ruling landed like a gut-wrenching blow, striking at the core of Trump’s efforts to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws and reverse decades of established precedent. The court’s rejection of President Trump’s executive order came just days after he signed it, seeking to not just deny citizenship to children born in the United States, but also to undocumented immigrants, as well as to those born to mothers legally here on temporary visas, such as tourists, students, or workers. Had it gone through, it would have profoundly affected families such as that of an undocumented woman who is the mother of a U.S. citizen and is expecting another child soon. If Trump’s executive order had been upheld, what would have happened to a family like hers (in effect, a mixed-status family)? Would they deport the mom, the newborn, and the child who is a US citizen?

Fortunately, Judge Coughenour recognized the executive order as being “blatantly unconstitutional.”

After Monday’s inauguration, after the boasting of forthcoming immigration raids, people started avoiding leaving their homes due to fear of getting swept up in a raid and being torn from their families and communities. These types of enforcement actions are indiscriminate—meaning they often end up detaining people of various status, including protected status and legal citizens. It is cruel; it is misguided; and it wastes much-needed resources while causing unthinkable heartache.

The Trump administration’s threats reveal how little the president is considering the future, let alone evaluating the consequences of his actions upon any other human being. He is only concerned with how he sounds, and what gets him the loudest cheers. Mass deportations, in addition to wreaking havoc within our communities, weaken law enforcement capacity and tank our economy. Who is going to rebuild Los Angeles? Grow and serve our food?

With these executive orders, the President has violated the civil rights of American citizens and their immigrant family members. Trump’s actions are racist, shameful, and an assault on the rule of law. When he vowed to overturn territorial birthright citizenship, he said, “We’re going to end [it] because it’s ridiculous.”

It’s a sad day when an elected president labels the 14th Amendment, which is over 150 years old, as ridiculous. Targeting immigrant communities just because they are immigrant is an effort to restrict equality.

Trump Officials Move to Quickly Expel Migrants Biden Allowed In Temporarily

A memo appears to allow Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to target programs that let in more than a million people.

Trump ordered the agency to shut down the Biden-era parole programs on Monday.

The Trump administration is giving Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers the power to quickly deport migrants who were allowed into the country temporarily under Biden-era programs, according to an internal government memo obtained by The New York Times.

The memo, signed Thursday night by the acting head of the Homeland Security Department, offers ICE officers a road map on how to use expansive powers that were long reserved only for encounters at the southern border to quickly remove migrants. It also appears to give the officers the ability to expel migrants in two major Biden-era programs that have allowed more than a million people to enter the country temporarily.

Those programs — an app called CBP One that migrants could use to try to schedule appointments to enter the United States, and an initiative that let in certain migrants fleeing Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Haiti — were key pillars of the Biden administration’s efforts to discourage illegal entries by allowing certain legal pathways. Immigrant advocates also worried that the memo could apply to Afghan and Ukrainian immigrants brought to the United States under separate programs.

The decision indicates that President Trump will try to use every facet of the immigration enforcement apparatus to crack down on a system he has long said has been abused, and that he intends to target not just those who sneaked across the border but even those who followed previously authorized pathways to enter.

It is also sure to raise fears among a large class of immigrants, many of whom had fled desperate conditions, believed that they were in the country legally and might be afraid to return to their often-dangerous home countries.

Both of former President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s signature programs had faced heavy criticism from Republicans, including Trump administration officials, as a way to facilitate illegal immigration through the guise of a government program. The migrants were given a grant to stay in the country for up to two years under a temporary legal status known as “parole.” The memo appears to allow for their deportation, regardless of whether they have reached the end of that legal status or still have time remaining.

In total, around 1.4 million migrants entered the country through the two programs since the beginning of 2023.

A senior Homeland Security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the effort rested on Mr. Trump’s belief that Mr. Biden’s immigration programs were never lawful and that migrants in the country unlawfully should be removed quickly.

Stephen Miller, a White House deputy chief of staff and the architect of Mr. Trump’s hard-line immigration policies, has made clear that he opposed both programs.

“Here’s an idea: Don’t fly millions of illegals aliens from failed states thousands of miles away into small towns across the American Heartland,” Mr. Miller said on social media in September.

Last night, in an interview with host Sean Hannity on the Fox News Channel, President Donald Trump tried to explain away his blanket pardons for the January 6 rioters, calling the instances of violence against police officers “very minor incidents.”

In fact, as Brett Samuels of The Hill reported, about 600 of the rioters were accused of assaulting, resisting, or impeding police officers, and ten were convicted of sedition.

Ryan J. Reilly of NBC News explained that rioters wounded more than 140 officers with “firearms, stun guns, flagpoles, fire extinguishers, bike racks, batons, a metal whip, office furniture, pepper spray, bear spray, a tomahawk ax, a hatchet, a hockey stick, knuckle gloves, a baseball bat, a massive ‘Trump’ billboard, ‘Trump’ flags, a pitchfork, pieces of lumber, crutches and even an explosive device.”

Three federal judges have weighed in on the pardons after Trump’s appointees in the Department of Justice ordered them to dismiss pending cases against current January 6 defendants, an order that, as David Kurtz of Talking Points Memo noted, “flies in the face of decades of DOJ independence.”

U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly summed up the judges’ outrage when she wrote: “Dismissal of charges, pardons after convictions, and commutations of sentences will not change the truth of what happened on January 6, 2021. What occurred that day is preserved for the future through thousands of contemporaneous videos, transcripts of trials, jury verdicts, and judicial opinions analyzing and recounting the evidence through a neutral lens. Those records are immutable and represent the truth, no matter how the events of January 6 are described by those charged or their allies.”

The leaders of two key paramilitary gangs who participated in the January 6 violence, Enrique Tarrio of the Proud Boys and Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers, are not helping Trump to put the pardons behind him. Now out of prison rather than serving his 22-year sentence, Tarrio called in to conspiracy-theorist Alex Jones’s Infowars within hours of his release to claim that he still commands the gang and that he plans retribution for those who put him behind bars. Tess Owen of WIRED reported that the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism, which monitors online activity, saw a surge among Proud Boys’ channels after the pardons, as members discussed ways to advance Trump’s agenda.

Rhodes, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison, also wants revenge. On Wednesday, he was at the U.S. Capitol, where Michael Kunzelman and Lisa Mascaro of the Associated Press reported he met with at least one lawmaker and chatted with others.

Politico’s Charlie Mahtesian reported tonight that those January 6 rioters Trump pardoned are already talking about running for office. Mahtesian notes that in primaries where candidates need to prove they are truly MAGA, those who served time in prison for Trump will have sterling credentials.

Kunzelman and Mascaro also noted that, in an apparent attempt to divert attention from the pardons back to Trump’s contention that the bipartisan January 6 committee had been biased against him, on the same day that Rhodes was at the Capitol, House speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) revived a special committee to retrace the steps of the House committee that investigated the riot.

But that didn’t go terribly well, as Jacqueline Alemany of the Washington Post today reported an exclusive story revealing that last June an aide to Johnson advised the committee not to subpoena White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson out of concern that if it did, the sexually explicit texts Republican lawmakers had sent her might come to light. According to Alemany, “multiple colleagues had raised concerns with the speaker’s office about the potential for public disclosure of ‘sexual texts from members who were trying to engage in sexual favours’ with Hutchinson.” Instead, the committee accused former representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) of talking to Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s lawyer present. Cheney called the report “defamatory” and a “malicious and cowardly assault on the truth.”

Undaunted by the outcry against his J6 pardons, Trump today issued pardons for nearly two dozen antiabortion activists convicted of violating the 1994 Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE Act, which the civil rights division of the Department of Justice explains “prohibits threats of force, obstruction and property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services.” Trump, who is due to speak tomorrow by video with the annual antiabortion March for Life, said it was a “great honour” to pardon the protesters.

Still, Alice Miranda Ollstein of Politico reported that one antiabortion activist, who wanted to remain anonymous because she fears retaliation from the administration, wondered why Trump hadn’t pardoned the antiabortion activists on Monday, as he did the January 6 rioters. “These pardons are fully in line with Trump’s agenda to oppose the weaponization of the government,” she told Ollstein. “So why he couldn’t have pardoned them along with the 1,500 on Day 1 is beyond me.”

It seems that for Trump and his extremist supporters, the federal government—which reflects the will of the majority—has been “weaponized” against a political minority that seeks to control the country.

To gain that control, Trump has assured his followers that the country is literally under attack and that the United States, which has the strongest military and the strongest economy in the world, is losing. On Monday, Trump—who persuaded congressional Republicans to kill a strong bipartisan measure to tighten the border and fund immigration courts so asylum-seekers could have quick hearings—declared that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States, although border crossings are lower now than they were at the end of his first administration. The order asked the heads of the Defence Department and the Department of Homeland Security to consider whether it was necessary to invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act, which allows the president to deploy the military to suppress domestic insurrection.

Yesterday, acting secretary of defence Robert Salesses told reporters that the Department of Defence has ordered 1,500 active-duty military personnel along with air support and intelligence assets to the southern border of the United States, joining 2,500 active-duty military personnel already there, and that the military will provide flights for deportations led by the Department of Homeland Security. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters that Trump is directing “the Department of Defence to make homeland security a core mission of the agency.”

Idrees Ali and Phil Stewart of Reuters report that there have been informal discussions in the department about sending as many as 10,000 troops to the border, a discussion that raises the question of whether Mexico would feel obliged to respond in kind. And, according to Meg Kelly, Alex Horton, and Missy Ryan of the Washington Post, the Trump administration is trying to get rid of an office in the Pentagon that works to protect civilians in battlefield operations. The Civilian Protection Canter of Excellence is housed within the Department of the Army and works to help the military limit unintended civilian deaths.

And yet the idea of using a strong military to defend America apparently does not extend to its leadership. Tara Copp of the Associated Press reported that Trump’s nominee for defence secretary, Fox News Channel weekend host Pete Hegseth, who has a history of financial mismanagement, alcohol abuse, and allegations of sexual assault, told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he paid a woman $50,000 as part of a confidentiality agreement to maintain her silence after she accused him of sexual assault.

Today, both Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) said they could not support Hegseth’s nomination. They were the only two Republicans who refused to vote in favour of his nomination advancing to the full Senate today.

Yesterday, U.S. District Judge John Coughenour issued a temporary restraining order to block Trump’s executive order that sought to end the birthright citizenship established in 1868 by the Fourteenth Amendment.

Twenty-two states and two cities, as well as other parties, have sued over the executive order. Coughenour was responding to a suit brought by Arizona, Illinois, Oregon, and Washington.

Coughenour, who was appointed to the bench by Republican president Ronald Reagan in 1981, told Trump’s Department of Justice attorneys, “I have been on the bench for over four decades. I can't remember another case where the question presented is as clear as it is here. This is a blatantly unconstitutional order."

When the lawyers told him they maintained the order was constitutional, Coughenour was aghast. "I have difficulty understanding how a member of the bar can state unequivocally that this is a constitutional order. It boggles my mind. Where were the lawyers when this decision was being made?"

Coughenour blocked the order until February 6, when he will hold a hearing to consider a preliminary injunction.
